Original title: The Little Highness Will Never Bow to an Arranged Marriage Also known as: Devoted Human, Please Wait Another Lifetime or The Runaway Little Highness and His Poor, Wronged Fiancé Synopsis 1. When he grew up, the little deer demon Xiao Shu could no longer find the human who had raised him. One day, he noticed a demon hunter who had entered the forest looked a lot like his caretaker. Thinking he might be the caretaker's son or something, Xiao Shu latched onto him. The demon hunter was called Si Yu. Just like Xiao Shu's first caretaker, he took excellent care of Xiao Shu. He cooked for him, bought him clothes, cheered him up, and protected him whenever danger arose. As Xiao Shu traveled with Si Yu on his demon-hunting journeys, he gradually grew used to their adventures together, unable to find any trace of his first caretaker. He thought he would spend a hundred years by Si Yu's side, then bear the pain of losing the one he loved alone. Instead, he died at the moment they loved each other most, and Si Yu was left to bear the pain. As he lay dying, Si Yu held him firmly and made a solemn promise: "I will find you again." 2. When the Heavenly Realm's Crown Prince Si Yu descended to the mortal realm to undergo trials, he saved a deer demon named Xiao Shu. From then on, a little deer who loved looking pretty, being pampered, and making a fuss was always at his side. Then one day, his little deer disappeared. Si Yu's temperament changed drastically, and he went mad, turning all three realms upside down to find him. Rumor had it that the Heavenly Realm's crown prince had gone mad from cultivating, so the Heavenly Emperor and his wife sought an alliance through marriage with the Divine Realm to rid him of his inner demon. As it happened, the Divine Realm's little highness was about to undergo a great tribulation. The Divine Emperor and his wife calculated that the key to surviving it lay with the Heavenly Realm's crown prince. They immediately agreed with the Heavenly Emperor and his wife, bundled up their child, and sent him to the Heavenly Realm for a marriage meeting. Little Highness Ji Shu refused the marriage, but when he couldn't, he ran away instead, only to be repeatedly caught and brought back by the Divine Realm. Si Yu, who was delighted to see someone determined to preserve his virtue for his wife, decided to help make the escape plan himself and send Ji Shu as far away as possible, just in case.
