Picking Up an Amnesiac Prince [Interstellar]

One hundred years after Earth's collapse, impoverished Shi Ning finds a man in the wasteland suburbs.

She is about to strip off his anti-gravity suit, which looks priceless, when the man wakes and snaps, "Stop! What are you doing?"

Shi Ning's hand trembles. Then she tries to sound calm. "I'm saving you! Look, you're injured. I need to take your clothes off so I can apply medicine. What's the rush? Your wound's opened up..."

The man looks at his perfectly uninjured body beneath the clothes she has pulled open. "..."

After she brings Lu Si home, Shi Ning becomes even more destitute.

After several years of living together, the roof of their house starts leaking.

Shi Ning: "It's no big deal. It's just a leak. It'll dry out in the sun."

Lu Si: "...You do know that after the first week of the interstellar calendar, the rain in the wasteland suburbs was replaced with liquid waste, right? That stuff damages Earthlings like sulfuric acid."

Shi Ning: "..."

Lu Si has to travel far away to collect materials to repair the roof. Before leaving, he gives Shi Ning a compass. "If you can't hold on, come find me."

Then he never comes back.

Several years later.

An emergency is declared in the camp where Prince Louis of Silver Earth is stationed. "Someone of unknown identity has broken through every line of defense and reached the heart of the base. We suspect they're an enemy vanguard!"

Prince Louis's handsome face turns stern. He asks coldly, "How many thousands of men are we talking about?"

"O-only... one..."

Not long after, someone knocks on the prince's door.

All weapons are poised to fire, and the long-range snipers are in position.

The door opens, revealing a frail young woman from Earth.

Holding the compass, Shi Ning bursts into tears the instant she sees Lu Si. "We don't have to fix the roof anymore... Our home got washed away, sob..."
