He's So Handsome, He Must Have His Reasons

"Merfolk are delicate and beautiful, like dodder vines that can only survive by clinging to others."

Shang Yun is a top-tier merman, beautiful and frail, and renowned by everyone as a femme fatale.

He's cold and ruthless, presiding over the Interstellar Tribunal. He even sent his archrival, who was also his bedmate, to the "Exile Zone," a place where death was all but certain.

Three years later, the wheel of fortune turns. Shang Yun falls from grace and ends up in the "Exile Zone" himself.

Shang Yun takes on a new identity and gets by splendidly thanks to his good looks.

But his good fortune doesn't last. He runs into danger, with a ferocious beast that wants to eat him blocking the way ahead, and behind him... his archrival, now a powerful figure, watching him with a warm smile.

Shang Yun: "..."

I'm doomed.

His archrival hates him to the core, captures Shang Yun alive, and plans to make braised fish out of him.

But his subordinates all rush to talk him out of it, each one completely sincere.

"I don't think Shang Yun was the one who used you, deceived you, betrayed you, and stabbed you in the back back then. Even if he was, he was forced into it."

"That's right. Shang Yun is so good-looking. He must have had his reasons!"

Archrival: "????"
