Rose-Colored Delusions

On this barren land, you are my last rose. - Pablo Neruda

A stormy night. A chaotic bar. Shattered glass glittered across the ground like scattered diamonds.

Shang Wan stood smoking in the back alley, waiting for that young man to come out.

After that night, a blooming rose appeared on Shang Wan's ankle, flourishing with the brilliant decay of an oil painting.

Shang Wan didn't care about anything. She wanted nothing. She didn't want love.

Zhou Yiyao understood.

Zhou Yiyao couldn't keep her with the boundless devotion and sincerity of his love.

Just as time couldn't keep a rose from withering.

Later, someone asked Zhou Yiyao what he and Shang Wan were to each other.

Zhou Yiyao: Lovers

Shang Wan: My little brother

Zhou Yiyao: ?

#Sis, is this true?

#You don't have to love me for real, but I will love you forever.
