The Little Mermaid Has No Bad Intentions

Xi Nian was mocked and driven from home because he couldn't control water as easily as other merfolk. Just as he surfaced from the sea, a huge wave tossed him away. When he woke up, he had washed up on land.

His unfamiliar legs and strange surroundings terrified him, but he soon stopped feeling lost when he met a merman who lived on land.

The man could control water, and his exquisitely sculpted features made it clear he was one of their kind. Only merfolk could be this beautiful!

So Xi Nian, sprawled on the ground, grabbed the man's pant leg. "Senior who lives on land, please take me with you!"

The senior took him in right away, but kept trying to send him away every few days. How could that be allowed?

Through his tireless efforts, Xi Nian finally got the senior to stop trying to get rid of him. But why was the senior looking at him more and more strangely?

Later, in the break room at the senior's company, he overheard a few humans talking. The senior actually liked feeling people up, and did it every day!

Everyone knew that, to merfolk, feeling someone up was an invitation to make baby merfolk. How could anyone be so shameless a fish?

One night, Xi Nian was caught trying to run away with his little bundle. The senior confiscated it. "I heard your way of feeling people up is a little different?"

Xi Nian: "Is it too late to run now?"

From the top's perspective:

An Chenghuan was taking out the trash when a little beggar with no pants tried to mooch off him.

He meant to cruelly pull the kid away, but then the little beggar looked up, his pale, tender face brimming with tears.

An Chenghuan: "How am I supposed to lay a hand on him?"

After An Chenghuan had taken Xi Nian to the police station several times, people started suspecting him of abandoning a disabled relative who couldn't walk. He had no choice but to take in Xi Nian, who seemed to be able to control water too, and bring him in to register his personal information.

The clerk: "What's your ability?"

An Chenghuan glanced at Xi Nian. "Flooding the Golden Mountain Temple, and... turning into a fish?"

1. A naturally flirtatious little tea fish with incredible luck | A non-competitive, unlucky human top, 1v1, happy ending

2. No children (highly emphasized). In this setting, only a tiny fraction of humans have special abilities, and they're secretly registered by a government department from childhood.

3. Humans don't know merfolk exist. The two species understand each other's language, and the egg roll gets the final say (hands on hips :D).

Theme: If you don't understand, just ask. Don't put it off! (^-^)
