Mo Jue was twenty-nine, just one month short of the age when, according to legend, you'd become a wizard, when he finally saw someone who matched his tastes from head to toe.
Feng Qihan, the current CEO of the Feng Group.
At least 180 centimeters tall, with broad shoulders and long legs, leanly built, and clearly the sort of man who looks slim in clothes but is all muscle underneath.
His face was exactly Mo Jue's type, with strong, defined features. He had a pair of alluring, flirtatious eyes, yet his gaze was utterly indifferent, and there was a beauty mark beneath one eye.
More importantly, the silver-rimmed glasses perched on his straight nose brought out his cold, chaste aura to perfection!
Mo Jue's eyes lit up the moment he saw him.
Th-this man was practically dancing on his deepest desires!
For a moment, Mo Jue's writer's instincts kicked in, and countless unmentionable scenarios flashed through his mind: sugar daddy romance, forced love, human-animal romance, immortal master and disciple, angsty substitute romance, and so on.
But... none of them seemed usable in real life.
After countless failed attempts to stake him out and strike up a conversation, Mo Jue was mistaken for a lounge singer at a bar after an accident, and then got tangled up with a scumbag.
Luckily, Mr. Feng appeared just in time to play the hero and rescue the beauty. Grabbing his hand, he said coldly, "You. Come with me."
Mo Jue was so captivated by that face that it took him a while to react.
Oh... so you want to play that trope.
Goodness, you could've said so earlier. You made me waste so much time.
Fine, I'll personally write the grand love story of a kept canary and his sugar daddy!
Feng Qihan recognized at first glance that the man singing "Animal" onstage, raising the energy to a fever pitch and looking impossibly wild, was the author he'd loved for more than ten years.
He quietly watched as the man, almost thirty but relying on his baby face to claim he'd just graduated from college, complained to him, "Life is hard, and chasing your dreams is harder."
Those beautiful big eyes fluttered, nearly spelling out "Take me in, keep me" across his face.
I was asking you for an update under your novel last night, and now you're telling me you don't have a job?
My company signed a licensing deal with you worth over a million last month, and now you're telling me you're so broke you can't even afford rent?
Go ahead, put on a show. I'll just sit here and watch.
My eyesight got bad because of you (and your novels)!
Who understands your tropes better than I do?
A week after they officially met, CEO Feng suggested they move in together.
Mo Jue acted reserved. "Isn't that a bad idea? Isn't it too soon?"
CEO Feng glanced at him coolly. "It's not soon."
Inner thoughts: Your novels are full of whirlwind marriages that turn into love and explicit scenes. What's this compared to that?
Mo Jue put on a wounded face and poked his fingers together. "Why are you always so cold to me?"
CEO Feng leaned in and kissed his lips, still wearing his aloof, expressionless face. "Am I cold?"
Inner thoughts: Your character types make your preferences obvious: you're a sucker for good looks, and 70% of your male leads are the standard cold, aloof type, while 30% are the classic gentle, considerate second male lead. Almost every story has an erotic forced-love plot where someone pretends to resist.
When a schemer came around, Mo Jue put on a look of utter heartbreak. "Am I just a substitute to you?"
CEO Feng's internal alarm bells immediately went off. He thought of a string of car accidents, amnesia, and groveling romance tropes, and felt like he was about to end up paralyzed and crying behind bars. Still, he had to maintain his aloof persona. "I don't know him."
I really don't know him! Who is this guy? Honey, you have to believe me!
Later, Mo Jue sucked on a lollipop, feeling a little world-weary as he seriously considered whether his act had been exposed.
#I'm in the troposphere, you're in the stratosphere. We're both in the atmosphere, but you're above me. #

A lighthearted, jokey comedy, not too long, no angst, sweet romance, not much plot. Just have fun with it. The author is letting loose and practicing stand-up comedy.
No major dealbreakers at the moment. I'll add them if any come up.
There are countless great stories on Jinjiang. If this one doesn't work for you, just pick another!
If you leave a precious comment, the author will be extremely grateful.
