Girl 1 thought: According to reliable gossip, Cheng Mo likes gaming, so he probably likes girls who enjoy gaming too.
"I do! I love video games: PC games, mobile games, Honor of Kings, PUBG, I play them all!"
Cheng Mo was still smiling. "Oh, sorry, then."
With that, he walked away.
Girl 2, looking bashful: "Um... I like you."
Cheng Mo smiled. "Hey, do you play video games?"
Girl 2 had learned from what happened before and firmly denied it. "No, I don't like video games. High school students should focus on their studies."
Cheng Mo was still smiling. "Oh, sorry, then."
And off he went.
This kept happening until Girl N couldn't take it anymore. She grabbed Cheng Mo, who was about to make another quick escape.

While Girl N stood there looking confused, Cheng Mo slipped free and disappeared from sight with his long legs carrying him away.
Bonus Scene 2
Girl 1: "Yin Yi! I like you."
Yin Yi smiled gently. "Hey, let's go somewhere quieter and talk."
Five minutes later
Girl 1 wiped her tears and sobbed, "You're right... I shouldn't... be like this. I let my parents down... They love me so much, and yet I've disappointed them so badly."
"My teachers... have been so good to me, too, but all I do is think about this kind of nonsense."
