The Washed-Up Actor and the Best Singer

Yan Qingwei, an actress whose fame faded more than a decade ago, suddenly appears on a variety show, where she runs into Xu Chenxi, a popular singer. They both pretend not to know each other.

Not long after, Xu Chenxi invites Yan Qingwei to perform at her concert, but Yan refuses.

Xu Chenxi: "You're still as heartless as ever."

Yan Qingwei: "The past belongs in the past. You're already the brightest star in the sky. I'm just a firefly, hoping to shine quietly for the time I have left."

Xu Chenxi: "Then I'll return the light you lent me, and keep walking toward you."
