My Archrival Says He Likes Me [Esports]

Faced with his team's disbandment and overwhelmed by online abuse, Song Yun went up to the rooftop to get some air. He never expected that the next day, the headline on the esports page would read: #HX Captain Commits Suicide Under Pressure.

His funeral was bleak. Hardly anyone shed a tear for him, and even Jiang Yan, the sworn enemy he'd always hated, showed up to mock him. The first thing he said was, "You played for four years and never won a single championship. I didn't expect you to leave so suddenly."

Song Yun was so furious he nearly climbed out of his coffin. Damn you, Jiang Yan! I'll never let you get away with this, even as a ghost!

When he woke up again, he'd transmigrated into the body of a bottom-ranked rookie at a training camp, on the verge of being cut and sent back home.

Looking at the young but proud faces around him, Song Yun scoffed at the idea of being a bottom-ranked player. He'd show them what it meant to be the league's Rookie of the Year.

So Song Yun crushed his classmates, climbed the rankings all the way to first place, and, unsurprisingly, got signed. By none other than his sworn enemy Jiang Yan's team!

What the hell!

Song Yun: ...Fine. He doesn't know who I am now anyway. Esports and personal feelings don't mix!

But after moving into the team house, he began to notice something was off.

Why was Jiang Yan's phone wallpaper a photo of him? Why were the things in his room all the same as his? And why was the little medal he'd lost when he was seventeen kept safe in a box?

Song Yun: ??? Is this how you show how much you hate me?

After one match, the team gathered to celebrate over a meal.

Jiang Yan held up the medal. "I know the former captain of HX very well. This is the token of love he gave me."

The team hadn't even had time to react when Song Yun jumped up. "You're full of shit! When did I ever..."

Then he discovered that this bastard had even tattooed his name on his hip.
