Synopsis

Le Xu's career had hit rock bottom, and his business was on the verge of bankruptcy.

To support his family, he had no choice but to start driving a taxi.

But the competition among taxi drivers was fierce, too. To earn a little more, Le Xu had to work nights.

One night, he picked up a rather unusual passenger. Before he knew it, he had driven into a strange place.

Le Xu looked up and saw two enormous characters before him: the Netherworld.

He jolted in fear, hit the gas instead of the brakes, and drove straight in.

After finally getting the car to stop, his passenger said, "We've arrived."

Then they paid Le Xu an unusual "fare."

Le Xu fled in a panic.

When he got home, he was astonished to discover that the strange "fare" was actually quite valuable, earning him a tidy little profit.

Several days later, Le Xu's car had become the Netherworld's exclusive taxi, and he had become its designated driver.

In the Netherworld, Le Xu was always meeting all kinds of strange passengers. They came from every dynasty and country in the world, and included both good and bad people...

And Le Xu was always receiving all kinds of bizarre "fares" from them.

As the passengers' demands grew higher and higher, the "fares" he received became more and more unexpected, but also more and more valuable.

Le Xu kept going further down this road, until he was actually building major transportation infrastructure in the Netherworld.

Meanwhile, his own career in the mortal world took off as well.
