After Becoming a Sacrifice to an Evil God

A terrifying game merged with Earth. Strange monsters appeared everywhere, people frequently went missing or died, and many places became forbidden zones.

Humans struggled to hold on with the help of the ability users who had appeared alongside the monsters. They urged everyone to go out as little as possible, stay home, and call the police immediately if anything strange happened.

Shi Yin also wanted to stay home.

But every day, three meals would mysteriously appear, already prepared. A gigantic spider spun a protective web around his windows, the stairs on his floor suddenly turned into an elevator, and the person in the mirror greeted him every morning.

Shi Yin: "..."

Was it too late to move out in the middle of the night?

The monsters had chosen him as a sacrifice to summon an evil god.

So they decided to raise him with care.

They even found him a teacher to instruct him in everything a sacrifice needed to know.

When Shi Yin had finally grown into a first-rate sacrifice, they eagerly prepared the altar and summoned the evil god.

Strange, dark traces tinged with blood spread across the room. As the altar gradually came to life, a familiar figure appeared beside Shi Yin. He glanced at Shi Yin, who had been woken in the middle of the night by the monsters but was still lying quietly in bed, and frowned in displeasure.

"Didn't you know he hasn't slept properly for three days because he's been out on a mission?"

The monsters: "..."

Were they seeing things?

Why did the evil god look exactly like the teacher they'd brought back?
