They were right in the honeymoon phase when Song Xunan suddenly realized his boyfriend had disappeared.

Then the war between humans and demons broke out. The Demon King, who had been asleep for years, had awakened and captured the leaders of the great exorcist families that had ambushed him and put him to sleep. The Song family was among them.

They were no match for the Demon King. Just as Song Xunan thought he was done for, he came face to face with the Demon King who had slept for so many years.

This Demon King named Qin Yan had the same face as his boyfriend.

Qin Yan sat above him, resting his chin on one hand as he watched him lazily. A fragment of a soul circled his fingertip.

"Three hundred years ago, exorcists joined forces to grievously wound me, shattering my soul into pieces. One of those pieces, acting without permission, ran off to date you. Isn't that ridiculous?"

When his junior disciple grew tired from cultivation, Song Qingxiao didn't scold him. Instead, he doted on him without restraint.

"All right, all right. If you don't want to practice, then don't. Take a break."

When Song Qingxiao returned from a trip down the mountain with all kinds of fun things to share with his fellow disciples, his junior disciple knew there wouldn't be anything for him and silently hid in a corner. But Song Qingxiao was the first to pull him into the group.

"I brought this gift for you. Yours is better than everyone else's."

Later, after Song Qingxiao accidentally ended up in the same bed as his junior disciple...

"All right, all right. Go ahead, go ahead. I'll do whatever you say."
