[Haikyuu!!] Catnip

[Male lead's perspective] The first time we met, you were on a street corner trying to convince a stray cat to come home with you. The second time we got acquainted, you sat beside me, looked at the notebook on my desk, and said, "I look forward to working with you." The third time we grew closer, you hurried to the riverbank and rescued a kitten that had fallen in. The fourth time we were drawn together, you became the manager of our boys' volleyball club and became part of my life. Isn't that enough? Don't you know that, for a cat, this careful yet unyielding attitude is an irresistible temptation? [Female lead's perspective] At first sight, as I held the first kitten of my own, I looked up and saw your gaze fixed on me. At second sight, as I took my seat in a new classroom, I noticed you looking my way, then quickly looking away. At third sight, when I rescued a kitten by the river, I saw you looking straight at me. At fourth sight, after I became your club's manager, I could feel you sneaking glances at me from time to time. Honestly, don't you know how adorable a kitten looks to a cat lover when it's trying to get someone's attention, being cautious and afraid to approach, yet wearing a slightly assertive expression? P.S. There's a cute little bonus scene in the author's notes, so don't miss it. P.P.S. This is my first novel, so the writing is immature and there are plenty of problems. (Thank you to every lovely reader who pointed out errors, stayed with me, and enjoyed this story! Love you all!) Cats like gentle people, and a cat's affection is selfish. Theme: Every encounter creates a better future.
