Story blurb:
1. A new dessert shop opens on Jiangxia Commercial Street, and business is booming. They say the owner is a sweet-smiling young woman.
Friend: Let's go check it out later!
Jiang Haolan: I don't like desserts, and I like sweet girls even less. I'm into the glamorous type, okay?
2. A young rich rascal shows up at Sang Wanxi's shop, calls her "cutie" the moment he walks in, then refuses to leave.
Every day, he mooches cake that's about to expire. Every night, he complains to her about being broke, claiming his family has gone bankrupt and can barely afford to eat. He begs her to let him work there.
Wanxi's softhearted, so she agrees.
But later, she realizes this guy has ulterior motives.
At last, unable to take it anymore, she calls security. "Hello? Security? There's a pervert here."
But when the guards arrive, they treat the rascal with utmost respect. "Young Mr. Jiang, have you come to see how the people are doing?"
Jiang Haolan flashes a rakish smile. "Looking at the prosperity of Jiangxia Street, I'm very pleased."
Wanxi: ?
So you've been pretending to be broke this whole time.
Wait, you're the unscrupulous landlord who raised my rent?
3. That day, Jiang Haolan was busy until evening before finally going out to find something to eat. He looked down the dark commercial street and saw the warm yellow glow coming from the window of a single dessert shop.
He pulled his cap low and put on a mask to hide how disheveled he looked, then went inside.
A girl at the counter came over and handed him a box of doughnut cakes.
"You look a little down. These are on the house."
He stared blankly at the box of doughnuts for a long while, then quietly thanked her. When he looked up, she was smiling, her eyes curving and cute dimples showing.
#Oh no, I've been won over by a box of doughnuts#
#Who could resist a sweet girl?#
#But the sweet girl rejected me T.T#

Cheese Soothes Cream Puffs: A haughty, highborn young lady x an elegant, refined young master
Tang Sifu grew up adored by everyone. A bona fide haughty young lady, she'd always been spoiled and used to doing as she pleased. She never expected to be betrothed to Song Zhizhou, the young master of the Song family.
According to the rumors, the Song family's young master was refined, elegant, and exceptionally clever. He'd been learning the family business from his elders since childhood and was the power behind the Song family. Unfortunately, he never appeared in public. No one knew what he looked like, and he kept a low profile, shrouded in mystery.
Gossip was everywhere. Most people said he was probably not much to look at and stayed out of sight to save face.
Tang Sifu sighed when she heard: Damn this arranged marriage.
Her older brother, Tang Siyu, loved his sister dearly and couldn't bear to let the girl he'd raised be handed over just like that. On the day of the engagement, he put on women's clothes, donned his sister's wedding dress, and pulled off a switcheroo.
-
With her brother's help, Tang Sifu boarded a plane and fled all the way to a small town in Florence, Italy.
By the river, a refined and handsome young man approached, removed his black hat, and bowed like a gentleman. "My name is Tommy. Would you do me the honor of joining me for dinner?"
Tang Sifu smiled and made up a name on the spot. "I'm Jerris."
Tommy took her to art galleries, accompanied her on visits to churches, and treated her to local specialties.
He told her that his fiancée had run away, and he'd come out to clear his head.
Tang Sifu clapped her hands solemnly. "Oh my, she must be a bit ungrateful, then."
On the day she left, she gave the young man a big hug and said regretfully, "You're a good man. I hope you find someone wonderful. Maybe we'll meet again someday!"
They really were fated to meet again. At the second stop on Tang Sifu's escape, she ran into him again by sheer coincidence, and they even became neighbors.
Song Zhizhou smiled warmly. "Hi, Jerris. What a coincidence."
Tang Sifu narrowed her eyes. "Hi, Tommy. We really do keep running into each other."
-
A few months later, Tang Sifu left with her suitcase, planning to run away again. As luck would have it, she ran into Tommy just as he returned.
"Are you leaving?"
Tommy's gaze darkened, his voice low.
"Well..." Before Tang Sifu could finish, Tommy grabbed her wrist.
"You can't get away now." He lowered his eyes and backed her into a corner.
The faint scent of alcohol filled her nose, intoxicating her.
Tang Sifu thought, Oh no, this guy's drunk.
"Y-you have a fiancée, so don't go putting your hands on me!"
"It's always been you. Stop pretending, Tang Sifu."
"...?"
You're the one who's been pretending all along!
#All those years of Tommy and Jerris chasing each other around#
#Jerris can run all she wants, but she still can't escape Tommy's grasp#

You are so good at writing, keep it up, I like this kind of pure love the most. It is so difficult to find books about Jinjiang Yishui Crematorium recently.
