The swordsman has few ties and no close kin, wandering beyond the passes like duckweed. After experiencing sincere, warm affection from the Top Graduate, he always looks at him with gentle, trusting eyes. But after the Top Graduate returns to the Central Plains, the swordsman gradually discovers that he and a certain villainous fellow surnamed Long are involved in an ambiguous relationship. His expression is wild with excitement as he says, "Kill him, and I'll be the only one by your side again!" The Top Graduate tries to protect his elder brother, but accidentally wounds the young man. After finally learning the truth, he searches desperately for him. In the end, he finds him at the border post where they first met. By then, the young man has become a general commanding three armies. He rides north to avenge his country and family, never to return. Only then does the Top Graduate realize that compared with the heavy burden of responsibility and his hatred for his country and family, the young man's feelings for him seem like a mere trifle. Now, everything has once again been buried beneath the yellow sands of the frontier. Once again alone, the Top Graduate sets out for the border, searching only for the young general who vanished there. His swordsmanship is peerless, a rarity in all the world, yet he is burdened with guilt and sorrow over past mistakes and keeps his blade wrapped away. His temperament is gentle yet extreme, reserved yet wild. The wanderer wants to understand him a little more, to draw a little closer... Though he has confidantes all over the world, after returning from a certain princess's affair, the wanderer realizes that his friend is acting more and more strangely. He keeps thinking about killing every woman at the wanderer's side. "What I want is a love unlike any other in the world." As for Yi Chen'an, who tormented the last of the heroes, he also manages to heal himself (?). Yi Chen'an keeps his accomplishments hidden and is just about to retire with the secret identities in his System interface when he discovers that the heroes he tormented are nearly turning the whole martial world upside down as they search for their vanished friend.
