Wandering at the Threshold of a World of Wild Ideas

Main characters: Ren Lu and Han Tu

A full-dive company, claiming it was about to go bankrupt, announced that it was recruiting people from the public to beta-test a new full-dive game. The announcement went online and drew eager attention from players everywhere.

At Ren Lu’s urging, Han Tu signed up, too. Ren Lu’s goal was to help Han Tu get over a breakup and return to normal life. But who could have guessed that, by the end of the game, Ren Lu would have developed... a bit of a delusional crush on Han Tu?

Let me make this clear in advance: this is not a game story whose main focus is romance, and that is not the full-dive company’s purpose, either.

Han Tu didn’t want to take part in the game. He’d had a similar experience before, and it had even caused an unfixable bug in someone’s game System. After that, he never wanted to play again. But Ren Lu kept trying to persuade him, so he went anyway.

What he didn’t expect was that the backstory for their roles would be so complicated. Even when the game was about to reach its end, the company extended their time in the game for free. That extension lasted a full two years in the game world!

This is the story of an experience as a beta tester recruited by a game company. If you pass the beta test, you’ll get to play any full-dive game made by the company for free, whether it’s new or old...

Everything speaks for itself!

A fun little scene:

“Village Chief, that man A Kui, the courtyard where he lives is sheltering a demon!”

“That’s right, Village Chief. You mustn’t let A Kui go back to the Beisu Courtyard, or he’ll definitely warn everyone there!”

“Village Chief, I wouldn’t do that. I came here especially to see you, to talk to you about our Beisu Courtyard.”

“You came to see me?”
