The Lying Coding Cat

Mao Xu couldn't understand how he could be pulling an all-nighter, programming and writing code, only to get struck by lightning and transmigrate!

And as if transmigrating weren't enough, he turned into a tabby cat!

After turning into a cat, Mao Xu found himself in the Hu family compound, where more than a dozen stray cats had been taken in by the Hu family.

The programming System's notification gave him an impossible mission: get close to humans and become sworn siblings with one of them! Only then could he go home.

First, humans couldn't understand what cats were saying. Second, after just turning into a cat, he couldn't understand the Hu family cats' language either. And finally, he was an introvert!

So he caused trouble and got chased out of the house twice!

To keep him, his owner, Miss Hu, specially built the cat tower from her dream. She wanted him to become a one-of-a-kind presence in the cat world of the Hu family compound, and to prove to Old Master Hu that Mao Xu wouldn't scare or hurt her again.

But who could have guessed that lightning would strike again? The damp wooden cat tower had no insulation at all!

Fortunately, he finally turned back into a normal human.

Unfortunately, to transmigrate back home, he still had to become sworn siblings with a human!

He couldn't do that, because it would put Miss Hu, his owner after he became a cat, in a difficult position. Old Master Hu would think that Miss Hu, who had always been perfectly well, had fallen ill, and would treat her like a patient...

A little excerpt:

Household servant 1: "But what if~"

Household servant 2: "Even if we assume Old Master knows, tell me, would he believe that a cat could turn into a human, or believe us when we say Miss might have gone stupid?"

Household servant 1 fell silent~

Considering how much Old Master doted on Miss, and that she was the only young lady in the whole Hu family compound, he might decide to have her treated...

But our Miss is perfectly normal!

Mao Xu wouldn't let that happen to his benefactor and owner~~
