Forced to Exorcise [System]

Five generations ago, the Yu family produced an exceptionally powerful exorcist. By the time the bloodline thinned down to Yu Chu’s generation, hardly any of that power remained. Yu Chu’s grandmother often reminisced with him about the past, lamenting the loss.

Yu Chu couldn’t care less.

There was nothing in this life he feared, except ghosts.

Who could have guessed Heaven would play a joke on him, giving him an exorcist’s mallet and accidentally binding him to an exorcism System? Not only could he now see ghosts and monsters, he also had to exorcise them regularly to provide energy for the mallet and suppress the Ghost King sealed inside.

Yu Chu’s response: I can’t go on living like this.

A new dark horse has recently emerged in the human cultivation world. His lineage is unknown, but his abilities are extraordinary. When faced with vengeful ghosts, he can lay waste to them with nothing but a mallet. He has repeatedly turned the tide and saved people from danger, making him a model newcomer and an exemplar of human cultivators.

“Mr. Yu is my idol!”

“Yu Chu is an outstanding young talent.”

“Yu Chu will surely lead human cultivators into a new era!”

Yu Chu, facing a vengeful ghost: You can all spare me the praise. He’s absolutely terrified right now.

Ghost King: Fear not. I shall clear every obstacle from your path.

Yu Chu: Yeah, right. You’re the most dangerous one here.
