After Winning Over My Childhood Friend, the Male Lead, I Can't Shake Him Off

Jiang Chengcheng is beautiful, comes from a well-off family, and has always been top of her school.

Her biggest dream is to get into the law program at the best university in the capital and become a lawyer.

Then one day, a strange voice rang out in her mind.

"You are the doomed first love of the male lead in a story about unrequited love."

"You must complete the plot tasks: win over the male lead, become his girlfriend, and successfully break up with him before the female lead appears."

Jiang Chengcheng: ?

As a beautiful high school girl with excellent grades and a privileged background, Jiang Chengcheng figures she can handle the plot tasks without affecting her studies, and have a little fun flirting with a boy.

If only the male lead in the book weren't Lu Jin, her aloof childhood friend.

Failing to complete the task before the deadline means certain death.

In the middle of the night, Jiang Chengcheng climbs through the window and knocks on her childhood friend's bedroom door, her face stern and serious.

"You there? How about we date?"

Lu Jin, still bleary-eyed with sleep, looks down at her for two seconds, then reaches out and pulls her in through the window. "Sure."

Two months into their relationship...

Jiang Chengcheng posts late at night:

"Help! Help! How do I break up with my boyfriend?!"

Lu Jin feeds her ice cream, pretending not to see the words on her phone. He pulls her onto his lap.

"Baby, that bridal shop we passed the other day had beautiful wedding dresses. How about we go try some on tomorrow?"

Jiang Chengcheng: Aaaaaah! Somebody help! What do I do if I can't get rid of my childhood friend after winning him over?!
