A little ad for a sister story:

The 250-Watt Goddess and Her Bunch of Hopeless Divine Messengers

It's another story about a new well~

A lazy, goofy goddess and the divine messengers who love her

I'm an utterly ordinary God of War. I was so lazy that the other gods thought I was too good at laying low, so they filed a complaint about me with Okuninushi.

That's how Okuninushi sent me off to be a land god.

Then he gave me a quota: I couldn't come back until I'd fulfilled a thousand other people's wishes.

My basic setup is as follows.

The current companions at my shrine, my divine messengers, are a silver-haired fox demon.

I classify him as a debuff.

Since he has his own white moonlight, a lazy god like me probably isn't even a mosquito's smear of blood in his heart.

He keeps yelling at me to "resign," and I really don't know what to do.

Okuninushi arranged a very interesting identity for me in the human world: police officer.

Naturally, I got coworkers too, and they're an interesting bunch.

Their dedication to work is beyond anything I could have imagined. I like them a lot, because that means I can hide behind them and keep lazing around.

So I count them as buffs.

Except for one person: a coworker transferred from the bomb squad. This guy is my nemesis.

He can't stand seeing me slack off and is always pushing me from behind to work hard instead of laying low.

He's definitely a debuff.

The day after I became a land god, I saved a high schooler who was being bullied by monsters.

He was so handsome and delicate, yet somehow he could control a whole lot of monsters (not really).

His relatives, who had adopted him, looked down on him. I thought he was obedient and sensible, so I adopted him. I figured he was a buff.

One week after I became a land god, I rescued a high schooler in an alley who was one breath away from kicking the bucket.

He looked at me with a mocking expression and said, "Never thought I'd end up being saved by a monkey with nothing."

I wanted to say, kid, you're the monkey.

I'm a god.

But I upheld the kindness expected of a god and saved him without holding a grudge.

Since he called me a monkey, I decided he was a debuff.

I've started a lot of new stories lately, and I'll update based on how many follows they get. This one will probably be the main one. As for the others, updates will depend first on my mood and then on their follow counts.

After all, I write for love. If no one's reading, I won't have much motivation to update. I hope you understand~ And you can tell from the follow counts which stories people prefer.

Of course, I hope lots of people follow this one too~ Ahahaha!
