My Housebound Evil God Keeps Trying to Lure Me into the Abyss

Song Chen was baffled. All he'd done was give the black cat downstairs a quick tug on its tail that morning. That very night, the cat in question showed up with a dried fish in its mouth and accused him of wrongdoing.

Shen Yuan hadn't expected that after tearing through spacetime and finding a secluded corner to rest in, some audacious human would offend him.

And that human...

The black cat sniffed. Watching the other man walk away, he slowly drew his gaze back from the young man's neck, then narrowed his eyes and purred with delight.

Song Chen had a secret.

His life didn't belong to him.

He didn't know how long he had left to live, or when the important person his grandmother spoke of would come looking for him.

All he knew was that the cat who'd attached himself to him grew clingier by the day. Every morning, he was woken by a meow and paws kneading him.

But one night, he woke unexpectedly and found the animal in his arms had vanished. Song Chen was just about to get out of bed when he looked up and met the face that had appeared countless times in his dreams: the face of the Abyssal Evil God.

In the face of Song Chen's horrified gaze, the owner of that face quietly pressed his lips together. But the tail behind him suddenly puffed up.

The legendary Evil God had a soft, pitch-black body. Anyone who met his amber eyes would be dragged into the abyss and cruelly torn apart the very next moment.

So when Song Chen was suddenly taken away, everyone had already imagined countless terrible fates for him.

But no one knew that in the mysterious palace beneath the abyss, the brutal Lord of the Abyss was quietly reaching out a paw to lift the covers. Then, with practiced silence and utmost solemnity, he wound his tail around Song Chen's wrist and curled up in his arms, perfectly content.
