What Could a System Possibly Do Wrong?

This novel will be going VIP on Tuesday, May 23. A 10,000-word bonus chapter will be released that day!

My upcoming novel, "The Gods' Sandbox Game," is now open for preorders. If you're interested, please add it to your favorites~

System 019 was predicted by the Main System to be a perfect System, but once again it failed its task to earn full-time status.

019 is naturally incompatible with its Hosts.

The first Host sabotaged the System and ended their partnership. No thanks.

The second Host was powerful, but never followed the task requirements. No thanks.

The third was pretty good, but was hopelessly lovesick and decided to abandon the task halfway through to stay in the task world.

019 smiled: Goodbye.

After watching junior 999998 leave with their little full-time-status badge, 019 had an epiphany.

The Host didn't matter. As long as the task was completed in the end, that was all that counted.

So:

When a Host thinks their task is stupid and throws a fit,

019 says, "You get the task that suits you. Don't overestimate yourself, you naive little thing."

When faced with a dark-type Host,

019 says, "Let's do a horror task."

When it overestimates its Host and the task nearly fails,

019 says, "Sometimes a Host is just a tool for starting a task. I don't have to be just a System that hands out tasks."

019 sensibly assigns tasks according to the Hosts it chooses. If a Host can't manage, the top System will do it itself.

The Host is just a tool for my rise to power.

P.S. Systems have no gender. To complete tasks (emphasis added), they will take on all kinds of genders and species.

[Slow transmigration or a single world, still undecided]

As the youngest child of the Creator God, He Chen neglects their duties, never goes to the small worlds to create life, and spends every day building houses.

Unfortunately, though they've built countless houses, no one appreciates them. He Chen is all alone in the empty world. They start envying the other gods' small worlds, where there are lots of little people who can run and talk, and, most importantly, live in houses!

So the bored He Chen decides to raise little people while building houses.

And so the Creator God rolls He Chen up and tosses them into a newly created small world.

"I'll build you the best houses!" Holding two soft, squishy little people in their arms, He Chen gazes ahead with determination and sets off on their house-building journey.

From a flat continent to lands dotted with tribes, from stone cities to towering steel buildings.

They originally just wanted to build the little people a home, but ended up creating an entire small world.

He Chen says: As long as you've got the stamina, there's nothing you can't do!

Theme: Success won't come knocking on its own
