System Could Have Any Bad Intentions is updating now. Coming soon: The Gods' Sandbox Game and I Cultivate the Heartless Dao. Feel free to add them to your collection if you're interested!
Why are strange lights appearing in an abandoned building in the middle of the night? Who's behind it?
A portrait has mysteriously blinked. Could it be possessed by a ghost?
A mysterious late-night call turns out to be from a husband who died years ago?
Everyone trembles: How terrifying! There's a haunting again.
As a real ghost, Qi Yan throws down his phone. "Don't ghosts have any dignity? Do we really have nothing better to do than come out and scare people every day?!"
Qi Yan: I'm busy. Don't bother me.
To put an end to the rumor that ghosts have nothing to do, Qi Yan decides to come down from the mountain and clear the name of ghosts like him.
Bonus Scene:
A supernatural incident suddenly breaks out on the set of a horror movie. The crew panics and plans to call in an exorcist.
Qi Yan appears and stops them. "Don't panic. A ghost didn't do this."
Everyone: You can't be an idiot. Then what kind of ghost are you?!
After working himself to the bone, Qi Yan looks back to find that supernatural incidents and urban legends have only increased, and he seems to be behind every one of them.
Qi Yan: So I'm the idle ghost after all.
P.S.
◆ I'm a tiny newbie, terrible at logic and writing. Don't scrutinize it.
The Gods' Sandbox Game↓↓↓
[Slow transmigration, or possibly one world for now]
As the youngest child of the Creator God, He Chen neglects his duties. Instead of creating life in small worlds, he spends all day building houses.
Unfortunately, he has built countless houses, but no one appreciates them. He Chen is all alone in the empty world. He starts envying the small worlds of the other gods. They have lots of little people who can run and talk, and, most importantly, live in houses!
So the bored He Chen decides to raise little people while building houses.
Then the Creator God rolls He Chen up and tosses him into a newly created small world.
"I'll build you the best houses!" He Chen cradles two soft little people in his arms, his eyes full of determination, and begins his house-building journey.
From a flat continent to a land of scattered tribes, from stone cities to steel skyscrapers.
He only meant to build a home for the little people, but ended up creating an entire small world.
He Chen says: If you've got the energy, there's nothing you can't do!
System Could Have Any Bad Intentions↓↓↓
019, predicted by the Main System to be the perfect System, has failed its regularization mission once again.
019 is just naturally incompatible with its Hosts.
The first Host sabotaged the System and ended their contract. No thanks.
The second Host was powerful, but never followed the mission instructions. No thanks.
The third was all right, except they were a hopeless romantic and decided to abandon the mission halfway through to stay in the mission world.
019 smiles: Goodbye.
After watching its junior, 999998, leave with their regularization badge, 019 finally understood.
The Host doesn't matter. As long as the mission gets completed in the end, that's all that counts.
And so:
When a Host thinks their mission is idiotic and throws a fit,
019 says, "The Host you get determines the mission you get. Don't overestimate yourself, sweet summer child."
When dealing with a dark and twisted Host,
019 says, "Let's get a horror mission going."
After overestimating its Host and nearly failing the mission,
019 says, "Sometimes the Host is just a tool for starting a mission. I don't have to be just a System that hands out missions."
019 assigns Hosts and missions sensibly. If the Host can't do it, the top System will do it itself.
The Host is just a tool for me to climb the ladder.
P.S. The System has no gender. To complete missions (emphasis added), it will take on various genders and species.
I Cultivate the Heartless Dao↓↓↓
After transmigrating, Xie Sui (hui) thought he was the chosen one. So as he grew up, he waited for his family to be ruined, a System to bind itself to him, or memories of a past life to awaken.
But he grew up safely into his teens, and everything around him was perfectly ordinary.
Xie Sui: I get it. I'm just an ordinary person.
Being ordinary was great, too. He spent his days climbing trees, splashing around in the water, and making crickets fight, as well as playing music, practicing swordplay, and going to lantern festivals with his childhood sweetheart.
Then one day, a group of people came to town and took his childhood sweetheart away, saying he had remarkable bones and a destined connection to the Immortal Dao. His childhood sweetheart followed the cultivators to a mountain of immortals, and no one even spared Xie Sui a glance.
Xie Sui: I get it. I'm playing the role of the white moonlight!
A few years later, Xie Sui received a letter from his childhood sweetheart, who coldly told him that they now belonged to different worlds, one immortal and one mortal, and that they should never see each other again.
Xie Sui: Huh? Where's my script? It flew away before I even got to play the part.
Just when Xie Sui thought he would never get another role in his life, his father used his money power to squeeze him into an obscure little sect.
Xie Sui, in tears: Father, you're pushing me onto the road to becoming cannon fodder!
But the deed was done, and the money was spent. Xie Sui reluctantly packed his bags and followed his senior brother up the mountain.
Twenty years later, Xie Sui returns after completing his studies. No, he descends the mountain with a letter in one hand and a sword in the other, heading home.
After twenty empty years, all Xie Sui has to show for it is Foundation Establishment. If he can't form an immortal bond, then so be it. He'll descend the mountain, enter the mortal world, and enjoy a prosperous life.
His father, Xie, jolts upright on his deathbed: Why are you back?! It's not time to bury me yet!
Xie Sui: This is pointless. Why bother cultivating? I'm done.
Theme: Embrace science and dispel superstition.
Hahahaha, I'm still thinking about the anti-lost artifact.
