The Bug Has a Little Planet

The Alliance's top officers thought that taking the faltering Empire would be a piece of cake.

So they set a deadline of three years. They would take the Empire within that time!

Unfortunately, they ran into Pei Xiu, known as a walking bug, a child of the gods blessed by the divine.

A rare energy source was suddenly discovered on the Empire's desert planet.

The reclusive Clairians signed a friendly agreement with the Empire.

A stellar event unseen in a century boosted crop yields.

The Empire was flourishing.

The generals who planned to take it over: ...

With the three-year deadline drawing near, they panicked and came up with a foolish plan: send Qin Yuanzhou to steal that walking bug.

Just as the mission was about to succeed, something went wrong, and the two of them vanished without a trace.

Everyone thought Pei Xiu and Qin Yuanzhou were dead. Then, six months later, Pei Xiu literally crash-landed in the imperial palace and made a triumphant return.

Pei Xiu: Didn't see that coming, did you? I'm back :)

The fake version:

After six grueling (?) months of life on a barren planet, Pei Xiu wins over a little planet. With it, he can do whatever he wants and is invincible (not really).

He returns to the Empire with the "traitor" Qin Yuanzhou in tow, living the high life while the royals dare not complain.

The real version:

After acquiring a little planet, Pei Xiu turns into a worried dad. He returns to the Empire to treat his kid's illness, get revenge, and improve the caregiving arrangements, gradually making the royals too afraid to complain.

Pei Xiu: Dad No. 1

Nasir: A frail but well-behaved planet kid.
