Vampire Zhi Zhi was awakened by a drop of sweet human blood.

Her magic core was too weak, and she slept for thousands of years before finally waking. By then, her kind had gone extinct.

Zhi Zhi became the last vampire, and successfully integrated into human society.

She crouched in wait for a month, hoping to feed, but couldn't find any prey. She couldn't beat a single one of these humans.

Until one day, driven to the brink by hunger, she broke into an empty manor in the city center...

There, Zhi Zhi found a man who couldn't move. He was alive, and very handsome.

She apologized as she ate her fill of the human buffet.

Before leaving, she left all the cash she had on her as payment for the meal.

Jiang Ying, the governor, was the absolute ruler of this region. He enforced the law strictly and kept his whereabouts secret.

When he returned to the city, the blood he had shed from a wartime injury accidentally awakened a vampire.

He was recovering from his injuries that day, unable to move, when the vampire took advantage of his helplessness.

The girl in a white dress leaned over him, and after drinking her fill, left a stack of bills as payment for the meal.

The next day, Jiang Ying stared into the mirror, lost in thought over the cute bunny mark at the base of his neck.

It seemed she'd left him something unpleasant...

★ Please add my upcoming story, I'll Raise You by Picking Up Trash, to your collection! Here's the blurb. Visit my author page to read more:

When Gu Yeman was at her lowest, she survived by collecting recyclables from the apartment building.

She gathered water bottles and waste paper, then rode her bike to the recycling station to sell them.

One day, she spotted an abandoned oil painting downstairs. It had a wooden frame.

The recycling station took the frame, but not the painting. It wasn't worth anything.

Gu Yeman secretly unfolded the curled-up sheet.

The painting showed a boundless wasteland, with the outline of strange giant beasts crossing it beneath a thunderstorm.

Her old house was plain, so Gu Yeman brought the painting home and stuck it on the wall with clear tape as decoration.

Later, she found many more. She sold the frames and kept only the paintings.

One day, during a thunderstorm, someone was thrown out by his landlord, his art supplies scattered across the ground.

Paint leaking into the rain swirled into familiar colors.

A tall, slender young man stood in the rain, his white shirt soaked through.

Gu Yeman rose onto her tiptoes and held an umbrella over Ji Changchuan. "You can stay here rent-free. Keep painting."

Ji Changchuan turned to look at her. Through the hazy mist of the rain, his profile was exquisite, and his eyes were like stars.

Several years later, a rising star in the art world, Ji Changchuan's paintings became worth millions and impossible to buy.

When people learned that a woman surnamed Gu had kept many of his early works, they brought their checkbooks and asked to meet Gu Yeman.

Under the gaze of a crowd of elite bigwigs, Gu Yeman calmly munched on an apple and called Ji Changchuan.

"That's right, ten million each..."

"What? You can't sell them?"

"What did you say? Can you repeat that?"

Ji Changchuan said, "I said I can paint for you for the rest of my life. You're not allowed to sell the old ones."

"Oh my god..." Gu Yeman was stunned. Stammering, she said, "You... you really want me to keep raising you by picking up trash for the rest of my life?"
