I Built a Nation for a Single Rose

I am a despicable person.

I have never denied it.

But fortunately, I am powerful enough.

Powerful enough to make my opponents tremble with fear, powerful enough to do as I please and pluck the rose I have coveted for so long.

I simply cannot understand why this hothouse rose, who has seen my hands stained with blood, isn't afraid of me at all.

Is it because he has no other choice and has no choice but to come with me?

I want him to be braver, so after some thought, I decided to build him a powerful country.

But now that my little rose has become king, he seems even more attached to me?

--------------------The Little Prince's Perspective--------------------

The First Mage is a sixteen-year-old girl.

When I heard that, I nearly laughed myself sick.

Those old men who had spent hundreds or even thousands of years scheming for power must have been furious when they heard the news.

But I never expected her to take an interest in me.

Is she an idiot? Why would she be interested in a fourth-in-line heir to the throne who does whatever he wants in the royal capital and is despised by the nobles?

If that's the case, then I'm a little interested in her too.

How insane. A rebel of the royal family and a mage who has fallen to darkness build a country like a utopia in a small town on the edge of the world.

I no longer care whether I go down in history as a hero or a villain.

Living an interesting life is enough.

A Mary Sue story. The female lead is not a good girl in the traditional sense.

It's an inspiring tale of a slum girl marrying a prince and founding a country.

First-person warning. A short story, expected to be complete at 100,000 words.

Powerful, emotionless mage x crazy, falsely spoiled little prince
