Got the Guts?

Collision is a variety show that's recently become a huge hit. It brings together top professionals from different industries and age groups, placing them in harsh, unfamiliar regions where they don't speak the language. The show follows how they use their professional skills to obtain supplies and survive.

The two guests representing the twenty-something age group are the ones viewers are most looking forward to.

One is Pei Jun, a young lawyer with a million followers on Weibo who once appeared on another legal variety show. As soon as the show aired, Lawyer Pei, whose looks rivaled Pan An's and whose temperament was as icy as snow, became an online sensation.

The other is Meng Jiujiang, a promising young pilot from a family of civil aviation professionals who came to public attention through airport videos. As the youngest captain, his handsome, bold looks have earned him legions of fangirls, and he was named "the civil aviation captain women most want to marry."

Everyone is eager to see how deeply these two will connect when they meet.

At their first meeting as guests, they took off their microphones, thinking there was no recording.

Meng Jiujiang: "So you still can't forget me, ex-wife."

Pei Jun: "Did flying for ten hours make you stupid?"

The audience went wild and begged them to get back together immediately.

During one competition, Pei Jun's boat capsized, and Meng Jiujiang immediately jumped in from the shore to save him.

In the post-interview room:

The crew: "Viewers want to know if there's any chance you'll get back together."

Meng Jiujiang, looking disdainful: "Absolutely not. I never go back to an old flame."

The crew: "Then why were you the first to go save him today?"

Meng Jiujiang, as if it were obvious: "He's afraid of water."

The audience: We're dying from shipping them.

- Loving you is the bravest thing I've ever done.

I was listening to Jiang Chen's "You Have Guts" while writing the blurb and thought it fit the theme, so I used that title. The blurb is unrelated to the song.

Theme: You are both my faith and my ideal.
