You Owe Me an Apology [Showbiz]

[Ongoing: I Make a Name for Myself in Showbiz Through Martial Arts. My column has lots of completed novels waiting to be devoured!]

When An Li signed with her agency, she fell in love at first sight with the big boss, Zuo Yi.

She gave him her heart, and they started dating soon after.

But little by little, An Li realized that Zuo Yi was trampling her sincere feelings underfoot without a care.

She went out of her way to please him, only to be met with cold indifference.

Whatever he said went, and An Li was like an obedient little pet.

If she could have won Zuo Yi's love, that might have made it all worthwhile.

But then An Li caught him getting intimate with someone else.

Her heart turned cold, and the two went their separate ways.

Years later, they met again. An Li was now a celebrated actress, and she heard an incredibly hilarious joke: Zuo Yi actually said he wanted to pursue her again.

Was the man a fish? Did he only have a seven-second memory?

Had he forgotten how he treated her back then?

·

Zuo Yi regretted everything. He must have been blind to have ignored such a wonderful girl and paid her no heed.

But by the time he understood it all, she was no longer waiting for him.

For the sake of his own happiness, Zuo Yi was willing to go all in.

So what if he had to be a lovesick puppy?

He deserved it. He was the one who had acted like a fool back then.
