The young man's voice was cool as he lowered his eyes to look at her. "I didn't see it."

In the end, she never got back the unsigned love letter.

The year Sheng Chu graduated from college, the Sheng family fell from grace. The once pampered young lady became an ordinary person, and she never again told anyone she liked them.

The writing above was neat and delicate; the writing below was strong and bold. Seven years later, Sheng Chu finally found her answer.

She froze at the doorway. In the dim light of the wall lamp, she could clearly see a man. The two of them faced off in the dark. Jiang Ning turned and went back to her room, trembling as she dialed the number she'd never called before.

A phone rang in the living room. Jiang Ning froze. She opened her mouth and called, "Sister..."

Lu Zhixing turned on the light and saw a little girl with bedhead, wearing bear pajamas.

He smiled. "Who are you calling 'Sister'?"

His voice was low and cool. He was clearly a man.
