As a student, Tian Zixin became the school's reigning bully thanks to her fighting skills, but she accidentally got on the wrong side of a certain crybaby.
After growing up and joining the workforce, she had to put up with tedious work while worrying about making rent.
Luckily, her company was testing a new dating app. Completing team challenges would earn users the right to rent an apartment at a discount.
Tian Zixin ran all over the place looking for teammates, and finally found someone who needed a partner for the same reason.
But when they met for the event, she was stunned: her old nemesis had turned up again.
Tian Zixin wrapped her little padded jacket tightly around herself. "I didn't do it on purpose. Believe me?"
Tan Wen pushed up his glasses. "Don't think you can run away this time."
Tan Wen had been quiet and taciturn since childhood, enduring constant bullying at school until his life improved after he met a certain female bully.
He had a secret crush on her but didn't dare confess. Later, he went abroad for further study because of family circumstances. When they met again, he was her immediate superior.
Tan Wen pursued her relentlessly, desperate to confess his feelings, but kept running into obstacles.
All he could do was take advantage of being drunk to ask in a soft, plaintive voice, "Why do you always avoid me?"
Tian Zixin answered righteously, "I'm a model employee. I refuse to work overtime."
Tan Wen moved closer. His collar had come open, revealing his flushed neck. "Does that rule apply to me too?"

On the day her mother died, her father was arrested by the police for a hit-and-run, but he died in prison the day before his trial.
Adopted for her extraordinary artistic talent, Qiao Nuan conceals her identity and attends an auction to investigate the truth about what happened back then.
At the banquet, a gloomy-looking man sat at the head table, dismissive of all the praise heaped on him.
The eldest son of the Shen family, a genius painter, an eccentric who lived in a castle.
Whenever people spoke of Shen Yanhui, their voices were tinged with fear and mockery.
Qiao Nuan looked at him and thought of those tearful eyes.
Years ago, in a hospital corridor, she had tried to take his hand, but he had violently thrown it away.
"Get away from me, you daughter of a murderer!"
A feud between their parents stood between them. They could never belong to the same world.
When the auction ended, Shen Yanhui left surrounded by a crowd.
He passed right by her without so much as a glance.
The next day, however, Qiao Nuan received a letter from the Shen family.
"Miss Li Mengxi, we cordially invite you to visit our home."
Li Mengxi...
The identity she had borrowed.
Shen Yanhui looked at Qiao Nuan before him. Her face was as lovely as he remembered.
"What is your name?"
He asked on purpose.
She said calmly, "Li Mengxi."
A lie.
Shen Yanhui snapped his pen in half and sneered. "Then welcome, Miss Li."
He should hate her, mock her, and make her suffer every bit of the pain he had endured.
Shen Yanhui let the flames scorch his reason, but when he saw her tears, he stopped.
"Qiao Nuan... don't cry."
When the truth came to light, the guests celebrated at the Shen residence, but the host was nowhere to be seen in the hall.
In a room on the second floor, Shen Yanhui pushed Qiao Nuan against the wall and gripped her wrist as she tried to fight back. "Do you really want to leave that badly?"
Her eyes glistened with tears as she pleaded, looking toward the door. "Please, there are guests outside."
As they struggled, they accidentally touched a switch.
Click. The lights dimmed at once.
The room was dark, yet little points of light sparkled everywhere.
Qiao Nuan released the hand she had braced against his chest and murmured, "What is this?"
Shen Yanhui gently bit her neck, his words broken yet tender. "The stars I promised you."
Reader's guide:
1. A seemingly delicate white flower who is actually a brilliant painter x a seemingly dark and unhinged man who is actually insanely jealous.
2. Updates daily at 10:00 p.m. sharp.
3. Blurb dated August 4, 2023.
Theme: Cherish the person before you and nurture your relationship
The subject matter is quite good, but the description of the heroine is a bit superficial. The author may have wanted to write a girl who is straightforward and cute, like a little sun, but it feels like it was not written. The description of the heroine feels a bit pretentious, a bit awkward, and a bit fake. In addition, many of the dialogue descriptions are too written and not like spoken language, which looks very awkward. Hope the next one will be better
