It's Your Turn to Kneel [Greek Mythology]

In front of the magnificent Temple of Athena, Medusa once swore to devote her life to Minerva, goddess of wisdom. But Minerva abandoned her most loyal follower. The sea god Neptune committed countless crimes against Medusa, yet the deity she worshipped denounced her as faithless and punished her. Medusa became a snake-haired monster, reviled by everyone. At the moment her head was cut off, she was reborn, carrying a hatred as vast as the sea. - Medusa realized that the world had changed, though it also seemed much the same. The gods all wore the same faces, but no longer had the names she knew. Neptune, who had forced himself on her, was now called Poseidon. Now he was passionately in love with her, but could not have her and had become a devoted simp. Minerva, who had abandoned her, was now called Athena. She feared Medusa, yet could do nothing about her. Medusa had gone from being a human servant of the gods to the daughter of Typhon, the progenitor of all monsters. Ladon, the hundred-headed dragon, was her older brother. He towered over the world, yet would lower all one hundred of his huge heads to cheer her up. Cerberus, the three-headed hellhound, was her younger brother. He looked ferocious, but all it took was a scratch behind the ears to make him roll over happily. Scylla, the sea monster, was her older sister. A beautiful and deadly woman who toyed with people's hearts, she doted on her younger sister above all else. Medusa: Hypocritical gods, it's your turn to kneel! [Reader's guide] 1. The heroine is a mad beauty. 2. The miserable Medusa of Roman mythology is reborn in the world of Greek mythology. 3. Minerva and Neptune are villains here. (Fans of Roman mythology, please go easy on me. I'm already on my knees!) 4. The idea that Medusa is Typhon's daughter is made up. I just thought Typhon was more famous and sounded more imposing, since he was the progenitor of all monsters and nearly brought Zeus down. The more common account is that Medusa was the daughter of Phorcys and Ceto. (Please go easy on me!) Theme: Perseverance in the face of adversity.
