The French Rose

Mixed-race spoiled princess x sleazy, charming older man

★ Sino's princess mother never married, but had countless lovers, with a particular fondness for Asian men.

Even Sino, whose father was unknown, was Eurasian.

The first time she met Kang Yuanxing was at her mother's funeral. Sino thought he was one of her mother's lovers.

★ After her princess mother died, Sino, an illegitimate daughter never recognized by the royal family, stood to lose everything her mother had left her, which the royal family would reclaim. She had only two choices.

First, follow the arrangements of her uncle the king, be adopted by a royal family, and receive a princess's title a year later, allowing her to inherit her mother's estate legally.

Second, hand over everything her mother left behind and fend for herself from then on.

Sino didn't want a new mother, and she didn't want to lose the memories her mother left behind.

★ Sino had been pampered in a castle since childhood. For the first time, she realized how helpless she was.

After being driven out of her mother's castle, the little princess fell on hard times. Her mother's lover, Kang Yuanxing, offered her a third choice:

Come back to China with him. He would buy back all the property that belonged to her mother and raise her to adulthood.

Sino knew that Kang Yuanxing bought back her mother's castle, manor, and all those jewels simply to honor her memory.

Sino also knew that he took her to China, adopted her, and carefully raised her only because he loved her mother.

Sino went with him anyway.

Because from the moment their eyes met, Sino fell in love with this Chinese man she shouldn't love, who would never return her feelings and would always see her as a child.

1. The male lead is not the female lead's mother's lover. This will be made clear in the story. They do have mutual feelings, but the male lead has his own reasons and concerns.

2. The female lead is 16 when she is brought to China. Throughout the story, she is gorgeous, charming, and extremely spoiled, but in the most adorable way.

3. The male lead absolutely spoils the female lead. Their age gap is 16 years.

4. The female lead dates a younger boy at school and has a ton of admirers. The male lead is 30 and has had relationships before. If that bothers you, proceed with caution.

5. The story's setting is very loose and has nothing to do with any real royal family.
