Outacting the Venom King

A Certain Geto:

For some reason, Reiko temporarily moved in with me. At first, she seemed very withdrawn and wouldn't speak. Later, I realized that Reiko was actually a sweet, innocent, and delicate girl.

The school I attend is quite unusual, and I often come into contact with curses invisible to ordinary people. To avoid frightening her, I've been careful to hide my identity as a sorcerer...

A Certain Reiko:

Ever since I came to my new home, I've often practiced different smiles in front of the mirror: sweet smiles, harmless smiles, fragile smiles. They're essential to my survival. Life is hard, and I don't want to be kicked out and left homeless, so... even though I can't speak Japanese, I have to win over the people around me with my smile...

I absolutely mustn't let them find out I can see yokai...

A Certain Natsume Reiko:

I work so hard to pretend to be normal, yet yokai keep showing up. Left with no choice, I secretly exorcise them. "Hey, yokai! Give me your name!"

I pinned the unruly great yokai to the ground and gave it a good thrashing. I pulled out the Book of Friends, and suddenly a gust of wind blew in. Brother Jie stood in the doorway, who knew how long he'd been watching...

Jie's gaze fell on the great yokai at my feet. All I could hear was the sound of my carefully crafted persona cracking apart.

My persona! What can I do to save you?

New story: Jujutsu Hospital

Jujutsu Hospital is a hospital management simulation game.

In the game, there's a group of people who think they possess cursed energy and can do anything under the sun, but they're really just a bunch of crazies overflowing with negative energy...

Leia loves management simulation games. On her first day in the game, she gave her hospital an authoritative name:

"Tokyo Metropolitan Psychiatric Hospital"

"Now open! Half-price outpatient visits, discounted inpatient care!"

At first, Leia was worried her hospital wouldn't get any patients. But when she went outside, she discovered that the game world was full of crazies. A mutated white-haired man even passed right by the hospital entrance.

The white-haired man walked around with a blindfold over his eyes. He looked terminally ill.

Leia stepped forward and greeted him politely. "Hello! Would you be interested in Tokyo Metropolitan Psychiatric Hospital?"

The white-haired man paused. "I'm a teacher, not a doctor. I have no plans to change careers right now."

Leia said, "I'm asking you to check in. We offer discounts for annual stays."

The white-haired man seemed interested. He toured the hospital, then commented, "The facilities are terrible. It's going to be boring without any other patients."

The picky patient refused treatment, and Leia followed him all the way to... Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu High???

So... Leia put her hospital's promotional slogan up at the entrance to the school.

Some time passed, but nobody came to the hospital.

Game System: The higher a patient's affection, the greater the chance they'll accept an invitation.

To get her hospital up and running, Leia started raising the patients' affection. But after she finished...

The patients either confessed to her or invited her to join their group of lunatics, that school???!!

Leia: This game is unplayable...

From the perspective of the Jujutsu High sorcerers:

A sweet-looking young girl opened a psychiatric hospital.

Every so often, she promoted it at the school entrance. She seemed harmless, kind, and friendly, yet she was always competing with them to exorcise curses.

They concluded that exorcising curses was the girl's main job, and running a hospital was her side gig.

Thanks to the girl, the school had fewer missions. To show their gratitude, they considerately refrained from exposing her identity as a curse, as well as the fact that she had transformed her Domain into a psychiatric hospital because she wasn't in her right mind.

Leia: Come stay at my hospital, patients from Jujutsu High~

Jujutsu High sorcerer: Look, that curse is sick again...

Based on all of the above, this story should be about "healing each other" (ー ー゛)

Theme: Warmth can touch people's hearts
