Synopsis

All Izuna cares about is his older brother, Uchiha Madara.

But the cunning Senju clan leader actually wants to fake his own suicide with a kunai to trick his brother into forming an alliance.

After Izuna is resurrected, he knows the alliance is inevitable, so he makes one condition: a marriage alliance.

The Senju clan leader and Uchiha Izuna are to marry.

The Senju clan leader is a man of principle, willing to risk his life for an alliance. Surely he'd be willing to trade a small thing like marriage, too?

My name is Enoshi. A machine malfunction dragged me into a game, and a glitch turned all the game graphics into chibi characters. I clicked exit, and a prompt appeared:

[The game cannot be exited until it is completed.]

As a mecha pilot with 3S-level mental strength, I figured completing it wouldn't be hard.

I set off to beat the game, but the start went badly: I accidentally stumbled upon two people fighting.

One piloted a blue mecha, the other a wooden mecha, and I happened to be right in the middle of their crossfire.

As their attacks came flying at me, I summoned my own mecha.

[Tip: Player's mecha is overused. Your ocular power is declining. Find yourself a brother before you go blind.]

Me: ???

Using a mecha in this game actually consumes ocular power?!

To avoid going blind, I chose option A.

I was surrounded by a group of red-eyed NPCs with black hair. The game displayed another prompt:

[Choose an NPC and treat him as your brother. After you go blind, you can transplant your brother's eyes and see again.]

I'm terrible at making choices. More importantly, I had a bad feeling about the way the Uchiha clan leader was looking at me. I felt like I wasn't choosing a pair of spare eyes, but becoming the spare eyes myself.

I used up my chance to reload and chose again.

[B: Senju]

I thought this was the right choice, because this time I didn't have to choose. There was only one white-haired, red-eyed NPC in front of me, and his name was Senju Tobirama.

I spoke without hesitation: Little brother Tobirama.

Senju Tobirama: ...

Senju Tobirama: What are you doing infiltrating the Senju?

Me: Little brother Tobirama, I've finally found you!

Senju Tobirama: Did Uchiha Madara send you?

Me: You're my biological little brother!

Senju Tobirama: ...

Senju Tobirama: Don't call me that. I'm not your brother!

The NPC refused to acknowledge me. I thought about it and decided we probably didn't look alike enough.

I studied the game's power system and developed a jutsu to change my hair color. I went from black hair and red eyes to white hair and red eyes like Tobirama.

Me: I, Enoshi Pennachis, swear that you really are my long-lost biological little brother!

Senju Tobirama: ...

Later, Tobirama finally agreed to acknowledge me, but he would only admit that he was the older brother and I was the younger one. The information sheet did say he was older, but I wanted a little brother, so I'd lied about my age.

Later still, Tobirama exposed my lie. I said good brothers should share everything and we could call each other little brother.

Senju Tobirama: ...

Tobirama's perspective:

His older brother picked up a not-quite-right Uchiha. Tobirama suspected it was an Uchiha scheme, and later decided to play along and accept him as his younger brother.

Tobirama, out loud: I want to study your Susanoo.

Tobirama, thinking: If he refuses, that proves he's hiding something. I'll expose him.

Enoshi: My mecha isn't called Susanoo. It's called Silver-Winged Archangel.

Tobirama, out loud: ...

A summary of Enoshi's problems with the game:

1. The NPCs' mechas are all called by their factory names. Anyone who treats their mecha like that is obviously an amateur.

2. For some reason, all the NPCs say I'm using a fake name. I thought it over and changed my name from Enoshi Pennachis to Enoshi Senju Pennachis.

3. I suspect the NPCs remember what happened before I reloaded. I chose a Senju as my brother, but Uchiha keep showing up and saying I'm one of them.

Luckily, the Senju clan leader and Uchiha clan leader later became sworn brothers, or I would've been in a real bind.
