From his looks to his talent, Su Yang was among the best on the show. And the mentors clearly favored him. The other trainees knew Su Yang had to come from an important family. Some trainees wanted to be friends with Su Yang, but they were intimidated by his aloofness. Whether he was with the mentors or his roommates, Su Yang was always unsmiling and sparing with words. If anyone walked toward him, he would turn his face away to avoid their gaze, or even turn around and leave. He spent most of his time away from the dorm and kept away from the cameras, making it clear that he wanted nothing to do with anyone else. Until one day, they accidentally found Su Yang in a toilet stall. They even heard him quietly begging someone for something. "Could being in the center spot... get me one extra little cake?" The trainees: ??? So you avoid us because you're afraid we'll steal your little cakes? At first, Su Yang, who had social anxiety, refused to let the Star-Making System bind him and turn him into a celebrity. The Star-Making System calmly opened the first page of its manual: How to trick your Host? After looking over its Host's information, the Star-Making System rethought its approach. "Actually, all our Systems share a common shop. I could trade with the Food System next door for some tasty treats..." After taking a bite of a limited-edition daily cake made, supposedly, by an interstellar master chef, Su Yang tearfully agreed to bind with the Star-Making System. He couldn't help it. The offer was just too good! The Star-Making System closed its manual with satisfaction. Step one of making a star: trick the Host. Success. 1. None of the characters are based on real people. The Son of Light Comes from the Northeast After transmigrating to another world, the thing Shi Yu found hardest to get used to was that the vegetables he worked so hard to grow kept getting stolen. The monsters stealing his crops were supposedly creatures of the dark. He couldn't beat them. They were immortal, and could always pin Shi Yu to the ground and rub his face in the dirt. Then, on the day Shi Yu turned eighteen, white light appeared in his palm, and he actually managed to kill one of the monsters. The villagers cried out that the Son of Light had awakened, and the soldiers escorted him into the imperial palace. The pope kissed his hand and pledged his loyalty. The duke knelt before his throne and declared his submission. The knight captain found the most beautiful gemstones in the world to decorate his throne. They said, "Your Majesty, please grant us prosperity." Shi Yu idly turned a gemstone over in his hand and said, "This thing doesn't look useful, but fine, I agree. Mainly, I'm sick of those dark-looking things. They keep stealing my crops." Then Shi Yu gave a sweeping wave of his hand and declared war on the lands occupied by the dark creatures. The pope, duke, and knight captain: ??? Wait, Your Majesty, that's not what we meant by prosperity! Besides, we're no match for the dark creatures! "No match? How could that be?" Shi Yu brought out a Light Cannon that could blast a hole through a city wall, a sprinkler that could destroy the dark creatures and restore life to the soil, and Light Bombs that could take out a whole crowd of dark monsters in one throw. The delicate-looking youth stood on the city wall, seemingly frail. The Dark Lord charged at him with a sinister grin. "Little beauty, since you're so eager to get yourself killed, don't blame me if I..." With a bang, the Dark Lord vanished in a flash of white light. "Little beauty, my ass. You crop thieves can all go to hell!" Shi Yu put away his gun and snorted.
