As Xia You leaves the old mountain village with the twins, he is arrested by ordinary people who claim to be a unit of hunters. His only regret is that he didn't say a proper goodbye to his friends.
He gives up resisting and closes his eyes, waiting for his execution.
But the powerful man in a police uniform takes him to some secret prison instead.
Xia You: ...Do the higher-ups want to dissect me?
He looks to his right. A young man with black curly hair has bandages wrapped around his wrists and ankles. His tone is flippant and languid.
Cellmate No. 1: Another man I hate. How am I supposed to die for love like this?
He looks to his left. A frail, pale, anemic-looking foreign young man speaks with polite honorifics.
Cellmate No. 2: Ignore him. Would you like to join our cheerful worries club?
Xia You falls into deep thought.
Could this be some kind of huge juvenile detention center?
Content warnings:
1. Please read the theme and blurb. I would like to say that I'll try not to whitewash Xia You's past crimes, since he is already behind bars, but any emphasis on his past ideals or actions that show he's turning over a new leaf could count as whitewashing, so I can't make any promises.
2. Some parts follow the manga, others are the author's own inventions, and sometimes I throw in a bit of the anime. It's very chaotic. For example, Dazai's ability will never activate in my story, and ages are kept vague! Just like Nakahara Chuuya's humanity is a Schrodinger's cat situation.
3. Writing is too difficult, so I've removed the daily update schedule I originally planned. I'll update according to the rankings. To make up for it, I'm sending out red envelopes.
Here's a no-romance story I'm saving for later:
"The Feasibility of Writing Detective Novels While Wearing Bungo Stray Dogs Secret Identities"
Yamu Sheng transmigrates into Detective Conan and gets a secret identity System.
He is very confident. "I've got this. Next, I put on a secret identity, go on a rampage, collect impression points, and use spoilers to give everyone a little taste of the shock that comes from a master plotter."
The System: "No."
Yamu Sheng thinks it over. "...All right, I really am not very bright. If I spoil something people shouldn't know, it'll be over. How about a little taste of the shock that comes from supernatural abilities?"
The System: "That's not it either."
Then what is he supposed to do while wearing a secret identity?
Meeting Yamu Sheng's puzzled gaze, the System cries out in utter despair: "You're supposed to write detective novels! If you're a literary giant, then go do something a literary giant is supposed to do!!"
"Uh, sorry to interrupt," Yamu Sheng says, grasping at a sliver of hope. "Are you actually a plagiarism System?"
"Of course not! Human works are protected by copyright. We provide secret identities, and you can use the abilities as much as you like, but you have to write the novels yourself!"
He tries to wriggle out of it. "I remember there were literary giants in Detective Conan's history?"
"Cognitive shielding. Everyone who uses it loves it. Go ahead and debut under a secret identity, dear! The newcomer award is calling your name!"
And so, the following scene can be seen in the world of Detective Conan.
The culprit at a cafe runs off in tears to take hostages. A young man with reddish-brown hair steps forward and kicks him flying across three sets of tables and chairs. The man adjusts his hat, then turns and asks politely, "Excuse me, may I use this case as writing material?"
[He couldn't understand how anyone in the world could hate himself. Of course, he wasn't some self-important nuisance. In fact, he was upright, kind, warm, and cheerful. He never spared a smile when he saw a stranger.
Even as the culprit tremblingly plunged a kitchen knife into his heart, the man kept apologizing. "I'm sorry. You're a good person. I'll feel guilty for the rest of my life for killing you, but if you don't die in my place, I won't have a life left to live."]
"The Victim with No Suspect"
The red-haired young man squats down and patiently answers the children's questions. The Detective Boys like this patient older brother and happily tell him about the cases they've encountered.
He sighs. "How nice. Kids' vacations are so lively. Can I write about them in a book?"
Conan: "Wait, at this level of absurdity, aren't the kids the problem?"
[He was a child.
His teacher had once said that children's eyes could see things adults couldn't. His father agreed, then gently added that those things didn't exist.
"So, when you saw Dad secretly throw a hand into the fireplace last night, that didn't happen either."]
"A Child's Peeping"
Inspector Megure rushes to the scene of a suicide by the river. He finds the deceased lying peacefully in a bag, and a drenched young man with black hair on the bank. Wrapped in a blanket and sneezing, the young man says he was searching for the true meaning of life, in order to write a novel.
"But that other woman didn't commit suicide," the young man says, pointing a bandaged finger at the startled culprit in the crowd. "Maybe the culprit didn't expect anyone else to jump into the river today."
[Killing someone is a crime. This is an unchanging truth in society, from ancient times to the present.
What about killing yourself?
She really was a heinous criminal. Because every moment, every second, she couldn't stop imagining plans to kill herself.]
"The Acquitted Culprit"
Yamu Sheng: "Hehehe, secret identities are so useful. I love secret identities so much. The entire Black Organization is going to come investigate my novels."
Theme: Strive to be a good person. It's everyone's responsibility.
Just solve v if you run away, don't torture readers. I started chasing Xia Zhi from the author's last book. I was very happy when I read this article. As a result, I started chasing it. If you can't continue writing, you don't have to write. What does it mean now?
Is it okay to solve v without updating? Why bother with the card😦 It really consumes the emotions of our readers, okay? There is no leave request note in the card update, and there is no explanation [Joker] Is the reader a clown?
I'll give it back... [Top chin], this book is really good-looking
It's the opposite, won't it be updated? [Crying]
It's been updated! If you're not sure, take another look (⌒.−)
I can't stand it anymore. I squeeze out toothpaste to refresh my skin.
What a shame! I'm curious when Osamu Dazai discovered Xia Youjie's little thoughts. He felt like he would be frightened and then run back to his own world to hide. Hehehe, it's like a cat that stepped on a cucumber.
It's been almost 3 months, where are you?
It's beautiful. Not many people can write about this feeling. Please update.
