During summer vacation, Mu Lan and her younger brother Haoran go with their parents to visit their grandparents in the countryside. By chance, they meet a strange old lady. After Mu Lan eats the rainbow lollipop the old lady gives her, she somehow gains the ability to talk to animals. Her younger brother doesn't like candy, so he doesn't get this superpower. The siblings take photos, go boating, and camp by the Yaqi River. But just as their days are filled with fun, an unexpected visitor appears: a mutated frog with a terrible temper. The siblings are in grave danger when a short figure in black appears in time to save them.
