Just How Endearing Is a Crybaby Mori?

This Mori Ougai was born with an unusually sensitive constitution: the slightest pressure leaves a mark, and his tear ducts are excessively active...

As a result, even a little bump makes tears well up in his eyes. The slightest irritation can make him cry, though he feels nothing emotionally.

Because of his sensitive tear ducts, he usually takes great care not to get worked up and show any weakness.

But sometimes he can't help it. For example... while chasing Alice around the office, he accidentally slammed his leg into the corner of a desk.

Mori Ougai's expression froze. He kept his face composed, but his eyes filled with tears, and a few soon spilled over. He tried desperately to force them back, but it was clearly no use.

The tears poured out like a floodgate had opened. In an instant, his face was streaked with tears, his eyes were red, his nose stung, and everything before him blurred.

It had to be said: to anyone watching, he looked... very alluring.

A handsome man with black hair bit his lip without changing expression, as if trying to hold something back. His beautiful reddish-purple eyes, like fine crystal, shimmered with tears and mist. The tears he couldn't suppress slid down his fair cheeks, slowly soaking his collar and slipping beneath his shirt...

Although Mori Ougai was used to his troublesome constitution, crying just because he'd bumped into something was still embarrassing. Thankfully, it was only him and Alice in the office, he thought helplessly.

Just then, Alice came over and cupped his face. Holding a handkerchief, she wiped away his tears while speaking without a trace of mercy.

"Rintaro, you're such a crybaby! You bump into something and start crying. How embarrassing~"

"Ugh... I... hic! Can't... help it... Alice... chan... you know... my troublesome... constitution... ugh..."

The man seemed to cry even harder after being teased again, and the handkerchief was soaked in an instant. His words came out in shudders, between gasps, as he struggled to continue.

"Honestly! Wipe those tears yourself!"
