After I Became the Leader, All My Subordinates Started Watching Me Like a Hawk

After I became the leader, all my subordinates started eyeing me covetously. Truly, I have been raising a tiger that will turn on me.

PS: Mori has one-sided admirers. The final pairing will depend on how things go.

The difference between a career-focused plot and a romance plot

Mori: I have to save Yokohama and the organization.

The Double Black duo: Why won't the boss look at me instead of that kid?

The little tiger: I have to do something for the boss.

Three years ago, on his birthday, Mori Ogai received a magnificent gift: a book that showed him a terrible future, with Yokohama reduced to a nest of vampires.

So he decided to strike first and seize the advantage, bringing the seventy-billion-yen tiger who would serve as a guiding landmark under his wing and keeping him firmly in hand.

That low-ranking subordinate might not kill people, but he would make a decent fighter as a bodyguard and protector. And there might be other uses for him in the future.

The more pawns he had under his control, the better. The future was going to be a real hassle.

Mori thought it over. For the sake of the future, and to have more pawns he could control, he changed his original plan.

It wasn't just Oda who fought the Mimic, he only played a supporting role. The real main force was someone else. The children didn't die, and they got the permit. Dazai didn't leave, and he was still within Mori's control.

Mori calmly made his preparations, his mind filled with his career and Yokohama's future. He never stopped to think about what the brats under him felt for him.

He was raising a tiger that would turn on him, but he never noticed the surging emotions beneath the surface.

The young tiger rubbed his hand against Mori's, staring intently at the hand gripping the chain. He cherished the affection that had suddenly been bestowed on him. Don't let go. You must never let go...

The gravity manipulator secretly watched him, looking up to him and wanting to do something for him too, even though that old tiger had claimed more of Mori's attention.

The boss's hidden blade watched coldly, occasionally wearing a scornful smile, yet he too was hopelessly caught up in it.
