Gong Lead
I tend to favor the pursuing partner. I like stories where the love interest pursues him, or where he’s adored by everyone or is strong. I’m also fine with a weak pursuing partner and a strong love interest, or with them doting on each other.
Top-Perspective, Male-Lead-Focused, Wish-Fulfillment Fiction
Male-lead loyalist. Mostly powerful male leads, or male protagonists with no romance
Top-Protagonist
Personally, I like scummy, irresistibly charming, powerful tops, but there are hardly any. I'm not too fond of weak tops, though it depends on the story. I'm a protagonist fan (not always, though; for top-centric stories, I mostly read quick transmigration and insect-tribe fiction).
Top-leaning
Not too particular about who tops. I only like playful tops. As a true romance devotee, I need both sides to have equally strong feelings. The bottom should dote on the top even more. Ratings have nothing to do with how much I favor the top
Personal Records for Protagonist Fans and Top Fans
I care more about the protagonist than the top. I tend to skip around when I read, and I like protagonists who do whatever they please. Top-focused readers are always starved for good stories, so I've switched to reading male-oriented gen fiction.
Mostly Top-Protagonist Stories: Reading Log
Stories focused on tops or with top-favoring dynamics, with a few male protagonists and no romance. Includes all sorts of pairings. Top stan.
Top Picks for Seme-Centric Stories
There's so little content that my level of obsession has dropped a bit. Still, I'm basically more into top characters. I never give anything below two stars, so I can't give these five stars either.
Top-Centric and No-CP Stories for Top-Leaning Readers
Just my personal taste.
Stories with a Charismatic Dominant Male Lead
Super swoony and satisfying!!! A must-read for anyone who loves the top!!!
Male-Lead Pursues, Everyone Loves Him
I don’t give five stars often. I only do it for books I’ll come back to savor again. This list has a lot of niche picks, so help yourself
A Top Fan's Reading Log
Exactly as the title says. If more than half your ratings on VIP novels are five stars, they won't let you keep rating. JJ, I'll report you to the authorities and have you arrested! What a lousy system. Some four-star ratings are actually five stars, if you know what I mean.
Top-Led Stories, Notes 1
I like gong-centric wish fulfillment, but I'm not into overly aggressive gong characters. I'm all for strong gongs and weak gongs alike. Gong-focused, with the protagonist at the center. My personal preferences are beautiful but tragic characters and seemingly strong gongs.
Top-Dominant, No-CP/All Pairings
I'm a protagonist-focused reader with a gong's taste for the shou. Includes scum gongs, domineering gongs, and underdog gongs. I love scum, domineering gongs, but JJ has way too many underdog gongs (sob). Some are spin-offs from crossover anime and manga.
Reading Now in 2024
Mainly gong-focused, leaning gong (I mean, why write a gong-focused story if it doesn’t lean gong?). I like both strong and weak gongs.
Attack-Centric (Ongoing)
Some are still ongoing. The four-star rating is because I couldn't give it five.
Top-Perspective Novel Recommendations
Oh my god? I was just trying to rearrange the order, but after I did, all the descriptions for each book got mixed up. (This list won't be updated anymore, head to my other lists~)
Recommended Top-Dom Stories
Mostly beautiful, swoon-worthy gongs, with a little bit of weaker gongs.
Top Fan, Reviews and Thoughts Are Just My Personal Opinions
I've read most of these. I'm a fairly serious GK reader. This is my first time making a list, so I'm not quite sure how it works. JJ won't let me give everything five stars, but some of my four-star ratings are really five stars to me
Seme Lead
Top's perspective
Pampered Seme
My tolerance varies. A lot of these are stories I read years ago, so beware of landmines
