Miss, Draw Your Sword!

Legend has it that the martial world once knew a supreme art called Zhuangzi Swordsmanship. Those who mastered it could connect dreams with reality. The dream-weaver could draw people into dreams and control their lives and deaths, either killing them outright or trapping their souls within the dream. A true master could command all beneath heaven, pass freely between the two worlds, and remain unmatched. Yet no one had ever witnessed this sword art with their own eyes.

At the time, the most powerful sect under heaven was the Herb-Gathering Sect of Jiuding Mountain. Its leader, Yuan Yinghui, was a grandmaster of her age. With three thousand disciples under her, the sect was held in high regard throughout the martial world.

Then, one year, trouble erupted without warning. A string of bizarre tragedies struck the Herb-Gathering Sect, and dozens of disciples suddenly fell into a state between life and death. The culprit openly challenged the greatest sect under heaven. Amid her fury, Yuan Yinghui realized that these events were connected to the emergence of the Zhuangzi Sword.

Back then, she was merely a dying woman on Jiuding Mountain, unable to move a muscle. Yet clinging to her determination to live again, she searched for the sword’s whereabouts on Yuan Yinghui’s behalf. Little did she know that when the Zhuangzi Sword appeared, it would unleash a storm of bloodshed across the martial world. Through countless partings, loves, and grudges, she would grow from a detached, heartless killer into a chivalrous hero who had weathered every storm.

But where is the young swordsman who once stood by her through hardship and adversity?

The moon was there then, shining on the clouds as they drifted home.
