Mori Ogai: Retired and Back in the Workforce

Also known as The Socially Exhausted Life of Director Mori

Don't ask. The answer is that the Book stole someone from another world and brought over Mori Ougai, a combat powerhouse from an unknown alternate timeline.

What, it picked the wrong one? It was supposed to be the Boss Mori from another timeline.

The Book: Shut up. What do you know? I couldn't steal the other one. I couldn't beat that strongest guy, damn it. This kind-looking, frail, gentle orphanage director who does charity work seemed perfect.

Sickly Mori: That's right, I'm an office worker. I'm a good (ruthless) person.

The Book: Aren't you a weakling?

Director Mori: I only said I'm an office worker. I never said I was a weakling.

The serious version:

There was no Mori Ougai in this world, so the Book stole one.

From emaciated, destitute, miserable, and ragged, suffering from hunger-induced stomach problems, to plump and rosy-cheeked, glossy-haired and bright-eyed (with Dazai Osamu excluded): all it takes is one Mori Ougai to make sure everyone has enough to eat and warm clothes to wear.

Director Mori, who had settled in here, suddenly woke in the middle of the night and remembered that he'd seemingly forgotten the children in the neighboring world.

Ding! Your kids are wrecking the house.

☆ Vaguely all-Mori in tone, with intense one-sided feelings. He seems kind, but he's a black-hearted cotton jacket.

#Who said the richest man on this street, living alone with a bunch of kids, was completely helpless? Step forward. Let's get beaten up together. #

Crossover skit:

[I was wondering what the strongest person in the other world was like.]

[He ended up with the other Mori Ougai.]

[Impressive. I can't compete with that. I'll take my leave.]

Theme: Accept your fate, Director Mori
