Mr. Mori Is Giving It His All

Short version:

What does it take to raise a fox?

Curiosity, life and death, fate, chance, destiny, childishness, another fox's tail, and eyes that bewitch him.

Mori Ogai met a black-haired man. He smiled, and his foxlike eyes were enough to stir some people's hearts.

His voice was gentle. The first time he saw Mori Ogai, he said:

"My name is Geto Suguru."

"We'll be seeing each other a lot from now on."

"I suppose I'm your karmic burden."

Mori: ...?

Later, when Mori Ogai met high schooler Geto Suguru eating a popsicle:

"Hello, I'm Mori Ogai."

"We'll meet again, and it'll be the kind of meeting where we try to kill each other."

"I'm your ill-fated relationship. :)"

Couple: Geto x Mori, emphasis on Geto

Theme: Don't decide someone's life or death based on your first impression!
