Cosplaying the Best Friend Duo Means Going OOC

Completed, with bonus side stories updated from time to time! [Story blurb] I cosplayed as Suguru Geto, the boss from the Jujutsu Kaisen movie, while my buddy cosplayed as Satoru Gojo, the wildly popular heartthrob. The System’s demands were: [Save the original characters!] [Don’t go out of character!] Under the scrutiny of the Six Eyes of High School Gojo and the probing gaze of High School Geto, I burst into wild laughter. “This world is simply incapable of making me laugh from the bottom of my heart! Hahaha, hahahahaha!” My quick-witted buddy immediately hit me with a “Hollow Purple.” And then the school was gone. Later, I went to a village where little sorcerers were abused to promote an electronic wooden fish app, got all the evildoers in the village to join a senior citizens’ song and dance troupe, and livestreamed the pickling of a Mohawk-sporting curse user while wearing a maid outfit with my buddy. The System lugged a camera around, wailing as it chased after us: [You’re out of character! This is severe OOC!] I gently told it, “When you’re cosplaying the best-friend duo, you’re supposed to go out of character!” … The “real” Gojo said to the “real” Geto: “Geto, don’t become that kind of adult.” “Yeah, you don’t have to tell me.” [This story can’t be published as a physical book. Selling privately printed books after being reported could land you in jail, so that’s a no-go _(:з"∠)_] 1. A crossover across multiple worlds. The plot and various settings have been altered to varying degrees, so don’t ask why they’re different from the original! 2. The cosplayers are the real deal, meaning their parallel-world selves! 3. The strongest pairing is Gojo and Geto. The viewpoint is unclear because it randomly shifts among the four protagonists, two Gojos and two Getos. 4. Please don’t mention other authors’ novels in the comments. I’m begging you!!! >>> Coming soon: [Coming Soon 1] After Gojo Finds His Way into the Forum While researching the Six Eyes, Gojo accidentally hit a bug and got trapped in a Jujutsu Kaisen forum. From meeting his best friend Geto to being imprisoned in the Prison Realm by an impostor Geto, the forum spoiled more than ten years of future plot for him. [If 5t5 would just become a tyrant and turn the Japanese jujutsu world into a one-man dictatorship, Jujutsu Kaisen wouldn’t have nearly so much trouble later!] That comment got eight thousand likes. After sorting out the general plot and reading every pinned analysis post, Gojo reached a conclusion: there was no future in being a good guy. If he was going to do it, he would become the greatest tyrant in Jujutsu Kaisen! … Geto followed behind Gojo in despair. “Gojo, have you lost your mind?” “Gojo, I don’t understand why you’re doing this. No matter what, we’re students at the technical college!” “Stop, Gojo! What about your bright future?!” Gojo smiled meaningfully. “Geto, what bright future do we have to look forward to?” He chose his own future: defect from the technical college, seize the Star Religious Group, dominate the jujutsu world, establish a paradise for sorcerers, and become the greatest tyrant in Jujutsu Kaisen. “Just watch, Geto. See if I can create a world that’s worth laughing in.” [Coming Soon 2] After Geto Gets an On-Screen Comment Feed On his way to the technical college with his suitcase, Geto suddenly found an on-screen comment feed in his mind. [The first episode of the Jujutsu Kaisen prequel! It actually opens from Geto’s perspective! I thought Gojo would be the protagonist.] [Gojo’s a protagonist too. The official word is that the prequel has two male leads~] [Waaaaah, Dark-haired Geto hasn’t fallen yet! Treasure this healthy, sunny young man while you can!] Geto: Fallen? Me? After that, the comments stayed lively in his head. The first time he met Satoru Gojo [The strongest duo meeting for the first time. Take a photo!] [Waaaaah, another day of crying over the best-friend duo. I’m sobbing my heart out.] “Little Geto, he’s your destined soulmate!] Geto: Hm? Soulmate?! When he was blamed after saving someone [Shut up, you filthy monkey! Don’t you dare yell at him!] [I’m so mad, I’m so mad, I’m so mad. Geto, don’t be sad over someone like that!] [Don’t be sad, don’t fall! Please, Gojo can’t live without you. He gets so lonely!] Geto: …How did this get connected to Gojo again? The first time he forced himself to eat a cursed spirit orb in front of the comments after enrolling [Someone get over here and add sugar, honey, and chocolate sauce!] [Summon Gojo! If Gojo gave Geto a deep kiss while he was eating a cursed spirit orb, Geto wouldn’t fall!] Geto: ???????? … Before long, Gojo noticed that the new student’s gaze had grown increasingly strange. “Um, ahem.” Geto took the initiative and asked, “Are you going to the bathroom? I can come with you.” He’d heard this guy was terribly afraid of being lonely, and that he’d die without Geto. Theme: Companionship is the most enduring declaration of love
