Earned Nine Hundred Million at the Cinema [Infinite]

My name is Chen Jiuyi. I'm 27, but I don't have 900 million in savings. I owe 9,000, got laid off, and have brain cancer.

No wonder my old boss always said there was something wrong with my head. Was that his uncanny foresight as a boss? I still hate him, though, even if he always praises me after I beat him up: "All right, all right! You're doing great!"

He also told me to just wait and see, that he'd make me pay! But I waited at the hospital for 72 hours and one minute, and he still didn't show. I hate people who break their promises, so I went to his company and beat him up again.

The police came to break up the fight and made me pay his medical bills, so I went from Chen Jiuyi to minus 9,000.

I needed a job. Someone online said, "Become a security guard. It'll save you twenty years of detours."

I applied to be a security guard, but the residential complex said I wasn't strong enough. I lost out to a 56-year-old big brother who was 160 centimeters tall whichever way you measured him.

As I left the complex, I saw a hiring notice at the little cinema next door: monthly salary of 2,500, meals and lodging included, with decent commissions.

The benefits were exactly the same as the security job. This time, I got lucky and was hired as a ticket taker, projectionist, animal keeper...

But on my first night at work, the instant I pressed Play for the first time, I entered the movie called Black Monday.

After hearing the rules, I felt as if my soul had been elevated. So there really were jobs with decent commissions, and bosses who kept their word!

Thinking of the movies scheduled at the cinema, I couldn't hold back my tears. I, Chen Jiuyi, really could save up 900 million!
