Xu Ribo Can Tough It Out to the End to Avoid Being Marked (Sentinel and Guide)

Xu Ribo is the Xu family's ordinary bastard, while Xi Lin is the Xi family's legitimate young master and a sentinel. The two are always at odds.

Everything changed when Xi Lin suffered a violent mental episode in his family's garden. Xu Ribo happened to pass by, was affected, and manifested as a guide. He calmed Xi Lin down, then knocked him unconscious before Xi Lin could mark and bond with him.

As the Xi family launched a massive search for the guide who had calmed Xi Lin that day, Xu Ribo quietly held out a finger. Bonding with Xi Lin would be idiotic.

Xi Lin searched among the crowd for Xu Ribo's spirit animal, hoping to prove that he was the guide who had soothed him that day.

There was nothing.

He even climbed over the wall and snuck into Xu Ribo's bedroom, but still couldn't find his spirit animal.

Xi Lin pinned him to the soft sofa, looking almost crazed as he tried to mark and bond with him. "You little liar. I knew it was you all along. You love watching me go crazy looking for you. It makes you happy."

Xu Ribo's spirit animal tried to hide in his hair, drawing in its little legs. Xu Ribo explained guiltily, "I didn't."

Xi Lin's spirit animal crouched nearby, its gaze so tangible it seemed about to bore through his head.
