Has the Little Cat Started Working Today?

Ning Yiyu has had a childhood friend he's secretly loved for ten years. That childhood friend is a pro esports player, the kind who just won the S tournament. When his friend returns to China, Ning Yiyu asks the school for leave in advance, planning to surprise him. Who could have guessed that he wouldn't find his friend downstairs, but would suddenly be struck by lightning and turn into a cat? The sound of a suitcase dragging across the ground reaches him. It's his childhood friend. Ning Yiyu: Meow, meow, meow! His friend walks right past him without even looking. Ning Yiyu: Meow! His friend's steps falter. As if possessed, he looks down, then, after three seconds of hesitation, scoops up the little white cat rolling around on the ground with its belly exposed. Fans of Team BF are surprised to discover that a white figure has suddenly appeared in the livestream of their ice-cold mid-laner, who is too cool to have any friends. Crash! The sound of a trash can being knocked over. The fans watch as their mid-laner rises from his computer desk without changing expression, then stalks toward the little white cat, his face dark. The fans are horrified: Cats are so adorable! What could they possibly do wrong? Please let it go! They watch as their mid-laner scoops the kitten up from the ground without changing expression, settles it in his arms, and sits back down at his computer. Be good, Yu. Watch your big brother play. I'll log off and play with you after this match. Fans: ...??? A short, sweet story, written for practice. It won't be locked until it's complete. Screenshot uploaded on April 19, 2021.
