Who Did Beta Wrong?

The protagonist was an Omega from a remote planet. He disguised himself as a Beta and infiltrated the academy, then embarked on a tumultuous life as everyone's favorite: The protagonist Omega couldn't stomach the food in the school cafeteria, so the son of the richest man waved his hand and had the menu changed to suit Alphas and Omegas. The sweet-and-sour ribs his Beta roommate liked best disappeared; The poor protagonist Omega's exam results weren't high enough to earn a scholarship, so the empire's second prince helped him cheat, taking away the scholarship slot that belonged to their Beta roommate; And this Beta roommate was even more “honored” to become a cannon-fodder scapegoat during their second semester of freshman year, when the protagonist's heat triggered a riot during a field exercise and he was pushed forward to die in his place. So every day, Ningning's parents would remind him: Stay away from the big guys, especially those ugly merfolk in the deep sea. They're fierce and brutal, and they love eating little Dumbo octopuses like you, all cute, chewy, and delicious! If you see them, turn around and run, or you'll be separated from Mommy and Daddy forever! Little Ningning nodded hard. Stay away from the big guys, stay away from the ugly monsters. Ningning will remember! One day, Little Ningning went out for a swim. He kept swimming and accidentally got lost. By chance, he met a beautiful fish he had never seen before. Little Ningning stared in wonder. The deep sea was full of weird, ugly monsters, so where had this “handsome merman” come from? Little Ningning shyly swam over. “Hello! Could I come visit your home?” And so the merfolk saw their young chieftain return not long after heading out, with their favorite little Dumbo octopus trailing behind him. The merfolk gathered around with smiles. “Impressive, young chieftain! But isn't this one a little small? Are we having it with salt and pepper or pickled raw?” Little Ningning's heart sank as he finally realized something was wrong. Ning Suiyi was talked into joining a dating show for ordinary people by his older brother. His goal: get attention and promote his family's company! With zero relationship experience, Ning Suiyi had no choice but to stay up all night studying The Formula for Love. But as soon as filming began, the young son of N City's richest family drew everyone's attention, leaving Ning Suiyi no chance to make a move. Just as Ning Suiyi was about to give up, he spotted Lu Jing wandering outside the crowd. Ning Suiyi: Great, you're the one! And so Ning Suiyi launched his attack, following The Formula for Love. Lu Jing looked at the young man in front of him, who was using cheesy, lowbrow pickup lines, and frowned slightly. “That's not how love lines work,” Lu Jing said, unable to bear it any longer. Ning Suiyi immediately took out his notebook, looking as if he'd found his savior. He asked humbly, “Please teach me.” Lu Jing: ... With Lu Jing's personal coaching, Ning Suiyi made obvious progress. Just as Ning Suiyi finally managed to leave Lu Jing flustered, Lu Jing's identity was revealed: He was number one on the latest Huaguo rich list! That night, Lu Jing received a full seven messages from people expressing interest, but none from Ning Suiyi! Lu Jing gritted his teeth. “Who? Who is it? Who did that bastard Ning Suiyi send his message to?” The next day, Lu Jing glared sharply at everyone, as if each one of them were the “culprit.” Meanwhile, the first episode of the show aired. On screen, Ning Suiyi smiled innocently. “Why did I join the show? Of course I want to fall in love...” As the audience watched Ning Suiyi speak, they also saw him deliberately shove the company logo sewn onto his clothes right up to the camera. ...Put your hand down and then I'll believe you.
