My Monster Lover

The world was being eroded by alien forces. Countless bizarre monsters took human form and infiltrated human society. They had no specific forms, could alter space, and loved eating human flesh.

Humanity tried to destroy them, fight back, and make peace, but received no response. In the end, they had no choice but to tell the public the truth: the monsters had already appeared, and an era of coexistence had begun.

Huo Xu and Tong Wen had been married for four years, and were still virgins. Their marriage was supposedly just a way to fool both sets of parents. Only Huo Xu knew that he loved Tong Wen.

Before the era of coexistence began, Huo Xu noticed that something was off about Tong Wen.

At the dinner table, Tong Wen would rather watch Huo Xu than eat.

When they shared a bed, Tong Wen would press the tip of his nose to the back of Huo Xu's neck and gently sniff him.

The vegetarian who had never lifted a finger in the kitchen suddenly started cooking, stewing meat for Huo Xu every day and feeding him by hand.

Tong Wen was elegant, sinister, and gentle. Huo Xu was lost in his husband's tender embrace, firmly believing that as long as he was by Tong Wen's side, he could bravely fight back even if he faced a monster.

Until one day, Huo Xu opened the front door and saw their cozy home drenched in blood. Broken limbs lay at his feet, and the piercing sound of chewing came from the bedroom...

Huo Xu rushed over and yanked open the bedroom door. What he saw was an image he would never forget for the rest of his life.

His beloved husband was "standing" by the window, his upper body swaying. He wore the suit and tie Huo Xu had once fastened for him. Below the waist was a gigantic snake tail that chilled Huo Xu to the bone, twisting and writhing until it filled nearly the entire room.

The handsome face Huo Xu was so captivated by was stained with blood. Green, slit-pupiled eyes fixed on Huo Xu as he entered, and a bloodthirsty smile curved his lips. "Darling, welcome home."

Huo Xu took half a step back and suddenly began to wonder just how much of his love for Tong Wen was real.

* A love interest who breaks down while still loving him × a deranged monster who tortures him in all kinds of forms

* The recipient is human, the love interest isn't. The meat the love interest cooks is made from monsters who've turned into humans.

* The monster has no specific form. Half-animal, demon, ghost, android... The author's tastes know no bounds.

* Monsters can alter the surrounding space. The recipient goes to work every day as though heading to his own funeral. When he opens a door, the scene on the other side is never guaranteed.
