[Updating daily with passion]
Short version: A love story between two fish.
Serious version: The false prince admires the true prince, while the true prince admires the Imperial Tutor. And so...
1. When Gu Changci was young, the Sacred Mermaid Maiden sent him to be raised in the Imperial Tutor’s residence. He hid there for years, until the false Crown Prince saw through his disguise.
His identity exposed, he survived countless brushes with death and ascended the throne. But someone he trusted did everything possible to poison and control him, making him forget the person he loved most.
2. He remembers everything, yet has forgotten the Imperial Tutor alone.
Seated on the cold imperial throne, a vague figure surfaces in Gu Changci’s mind. By chance, he finds that figure in the harem, but mistakes him for a beautiful male concubine left behind after the late Emperor’s death...
3. Even after learning that he was the late Emperor’s male concubine, Gu Changci falls for him without hesitation.
But it seems this throne is cursed. No emperor meets a good end, and loving an emperor is an even surer path to ruin.
4. On New Year’s Eve, as snow falls thickly, the Imperial Tutor chooses to curse the bastard emperor, hoping to end his fate as the last Mermaid Emperor, destined to live forever without aging.
[Reader’s guide]
Happy ending, 1v1. Just a little angst for fun, though the melodrama is real.
I won’t abandon this novel. If... I have something to say, I’ll post it in the author’s notes.
Half-blood emperor top x pure-blood Imperial Tutor bottom.
The top is half-mermaid, half-human, as the saying goes.
The top’s birth mother is the bottom’s senior sister. The bottom raised the top from childhood.

Coming next: The Emperor and the Regent Were Hit by a Love Curse
A modern musician transmigrates as a beautiful regent, only to be struck by a love curse and wake up in the arms of a strange man.
The Emperor says coldly, “Uncle, you’ve got quite the tricks. You even cast a love curse just to have me.”
The musician is overcome with guilt. How could he have done something like that to His Majesty...
So he searches everywhere for a way to break the curse.
But the Emperor has no intention of breaking it at all.
If he doesn’t like him, why not break the curse?
Only after he finds the antidote and the Emperor destroys it with his own hands
does he realize the Emperor was the one who cast the love curse on him.
*
They part ways, and the musician, who has suffered one setback after another in the palace, is banished to the border.
When they meet again, there’s a Wolf King’s consort at the diplomatic wedding banquet.
The Emperor angrily drains his cup, furious that the musician has found himself another man!
The musician shrugs. “Your Majesty, don’t flirt with a married man. Your darling will get jealous.”
The little Wolf King... You bully my man, so I’ll bully your darling!

Melodramatic, 1v1, a deliciously bittersweet snack.
Coming next: Does a Personal Shadow Guard Have to Stick Close?
Hua Lin, an undercover police officer, transmigrates into the body of an ugly, weak shadow guard.
The First Prince is very displeased with this ugly man and beats and berates him at every turn.
Hua Lin learns that the First Prince is lecherous. He also finds out that someone deliberately poisoned him, ruining his appearance.
Who made him ugly?
To escape the First Prince’s abuse, Hua Lin thinks about defecting to another prince every day.
At last, he is won as a prize after a hunt.
Ever since Hua Lin joined the Crown Prince, he has eaten well, lived well, and become beautiful, too.
He’s gone from an ugly duckling to a phoenix, and the First Prince grinds his teeth to powder!
On the Crown Prince’s birthday, all the princes drink and make merry at the banquet. Hua Lin is deliberately made drunk and loses consciousness.
While the Crown Prince eats:
Hua Lin: Ugh...
While the Crown Prince works:
Hua Lin: Ugh...
While the Crown Prince chooses a consort:
Hua Lin: Ugh...
